"Outer circle of Connaught place and close to Janpath this budget hotel is great for getting around Delhi. Close to Rajiv Chowk the metro is at your fingertips as are autorickshaws and taxis. Rooms are clean, very 1970s decor but comfortable. Breakfast was OK, totally adequate for the price we paid to stay there. Totally cool place for people who want clean, comfortable, cheap. The lovely young man on reception was very helpful. Location is king here, coupled with convenience. Perfect if coming...

"The hotel is extremely well located, very central and has good metro connections. The area can be quite rough for tourists and dirty if you want a clean environment select the suburbs rather than downtown. There are plenty of places to eat around. The entrance to the hotel is a bit weird but once in the hotel all fine, we felt safe and comfortable. The room was Clean and good bathroom for local standards. "Location good. In Connaught Place close to metro station. (Exit metro at gate 3.) That is the reason to stay here. There is no lift and rooms can be up several flights. It is dusty and can use some paint. But this is India so we have to evaluate in context. Did have hot water. "The Imperial is a unique institution, almost a destination rather than a hotel. It is beautiful and its superb art and artifact collection sets it apart from any other hotel we have ever experienced. The staff and concierge are extremely attentive and all our requests were met promptly and with great care. If I have one minor complaint, it is about service in the dining room (1911), which tends to be a little unsystematic though very attentive when someone is actually looking. "
