Peaceful Rustic Mountain Entertainment Studio

Come enjoy our mother-in-law suite above our stand alone garage. Nestled on Conifer Mountain at almost 9 thousand feet, surrounded by serene forest and wildlife, you will find all the comforts of a home away from home. We are just over 5 miles from Hwy 285 and the town of Conifer, CO. Nearby access to the Platte River, Staunton State Park, Pine Valley Ranch, Beaver Ranch Park and countless other outdoor activities. Only 22 miles or 35 minutes to Red Rocks Amphitheater. Enjoy many dining options, shopping, bars, and local attractions of Evergreen, Bailey, and Conifer.

Colorado mountains in the winter are some of the most beautiful and serene you will ever encounter. However, it does take some planning and preparation to be sure that you are ready and safe for the elements. If you plan to book with us during months that there could be a potential for snow (which truly can be anywhere from September through May), we do recommend that your vehicle be equipped with all wheel drive or 4-wheel drive. We will keep the driveway and your walking paths cleared of snow, and the county does a pretty good job of clearing the roads as well. As with any winter driving, we always recommend caution. We encourage you to look ahead for the weather reports to see what kind of conditions you may be dealing with during your stay with us. The Perfect Getaway!
What a beautiful setting for a weekend of R & R. My son and I enjoyed using the pool table and dart board, eating the fresh eggs (thank you!!) and the beautiful drive up Conifer Mountain. We traveled to Colorado for a concert at Red Rocks, and this location was a perfect place to stay!

Beautiful mountain escape
This place was perfect. The location is just outside of town, and the views are beautiful. The space was clean and very private. We loved the soft bed and special touches like complimentary fresh eggs and snacks. We will certainly stay here again.

Perfect Hideaway
This place was exactly what we were looking for. Secluded but has everything we needed and more. Wish we could have stayed longer. One note, the bathroom is down a flight of stairs. Its about 30-40min from downtown Denver. Would stay here again and again. Brent is a great host.

Mountain Escape
We stayed here for two nights. We liked the proximity to Red Rocks. The property is very well equipped and in a fabulous setting. The bed was oh so comfy and we slept with the windows open to the mountain air. This is a top notch rental.

Quiet Mountain Retreat

Simply amazing! Perfect place to relax and unwind after long days of exploring and hiking the beautiful area. Brent and Katy thought of everything one could possibly need when away from home. Superb Rustic Getaway Hidden in Beautiful Mountians
The place has been finished extremely nicely! Nothing cheap about it. Everything was great quality and the style and décor throughout the home all fit together really well (something which many rental vacation houses seem to struggle with for some reason). The setting was amazing too, with beautiful forest and mountain-ridge views. Worth every penny. Would absolutely recommend for a getaway location!

This place is the best place I've ever stayed! Beautiful views of the mountains from every window! Super clean, extra comfy bed, excellent location, and the welcome basket was a huge bonus. They have thought of everything! Owners were amazing, quick to respond and great communicators. This place is a hidden gem in the mountains, and I will most definitely be back. Wonderful
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just as advertised. Love the isolation, nature, and the smell of the mountains. Weather was fantastic, and we enjoyed hiking at the state park nearby. We also enjoyed the places that we ate in Conifer. It was a winding drive through the trees to get there, but definitely worth it. We will be back.

Mountain bliss
This place was so wonderful. It’s very clean and spacious, and so comfortable. I wish all VRBOs were this nice, it definitely deserves 5 stars! We even had perfect weather, and slept with the windows open. We visit the area regularly and will be sure to book again. I’ve shared with friends in Conifer to refer to their overflow guests. Girls Getaway
Very quaint guest house. Beautiful views. Homeowners have chickens and left us fresh eggs! Bit of a curvy road to get up there if you get car sick. Also recommend stopping at the grocery store on your way up cuz you may not want to drive back down. Loved this property ❤️

Absolutely beautiful! Our first VRBO experience - Katy and Brent set the bar VERY high! They have created a very comfortable and welcoming space that is full of 'nice touches' starting with beautiful and tasty fresh eggs! Great coffee selection, treats, fully stocked kitchen, more games and activies than time allows, comfortable bed and sofa, all the bath amenities, and some great deer watching!

Better than we could have hoped for!!
Where to begin?! We came in for a quick trip - a concert at Red Rocks - however the CO weather didnt agrre & we emded up just having a fantastic steak dinner at 5281 and enjoying ourntime in this beautiful loft instead! It was AMAZING!! The VRBO pictures don't do it justice. Feom the welcome basket, to the tasteful decor, to the Eubanks Farm stamped toilet paper - absolutely amazing!! We will defintely be back, either with the kids, or just another sweet, romantic getaway with just the two of us. Thank you, Brent & Katy!!!!!!

REALLY NICE! Great Place!!
The place is exactly as shown in the photo's, large, comfortable room about 20 minutes from Red Rocks amphitheater. To get here, there is a 12-15 min winding, fun drive through mountains with views of the valley and snow capped mountains in the distance. Chickens on site but no roosters- so no noise at all, perfectly quiet! We easily accessed the entire Denver/Golden area from here including a concert at Red Rocks- the main reason for our trip. This place is definitely on our short list for future trips!! Owners were responsive and helpful. Small grill was great for our ribeye's! Easy, clean and comfortable- perfect!

A Cozy Fall Getaway
This cozy getaway is in the beautiful Colorado mountains where we enjoyed the serenity of the fall colors of the aspen trees around this property. While it is an apartment above the garage, it feels like a luxurious home. We slept so well in the amazingly comfortable bed. Katy was wonderful with getting in touch with us at a moment's notice for any questions. We throughly enjoyed our privacy while enjoying the plethora of games and books at our fingertips. It's a quick trip down the mountain to the Red Rock Ampitheatre as well as Denver if your looking for some activities nearby. As an added bonus the assorted gift basket was delicious, most especially the freshest eggs from their flock of chickens. This review doesn't do justice to how incredible this place really is. I would definitely stay here again!
