"The lodge we stayed in ( badger lodge) was amazing. It came with everything you need to make your stay comfortable for a family of 4. The lodge include a washing machine, hoover, huge freezer and a hair dryer. The hot tub is definitely the highlight of the stay. A guy comes out and explains all the dials and is cleaned on a daily basis. The area overall is good, there is a play area for young children but not much for teenagers to do apart from a quarry trail. The only let down for this place...

"A lovely private get away if you need to unwind and relax this is the place , cosy and warm , bed comfy and outdoor space amazing with hotub and garden area . My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas"

"Spacious and well equipped lodge in tranquil surroundings. Privacy was excellent especially for hot tub use. Robes provided which was ideal for hot tub. Kitchen fully equipped. Comfy sofaā€™s. WiFi and TV coverage was patchy but meant we were more inclined to Use our phones less which made for a proper relaxation. Would definitely stay there again. "

"It was ok, photos not representative of the pod, very tired inside, there was a bad musty smell in the cabin and all the signs up about no noise or being in the hot tub and no music after half 10 but the next door pod to us were still blasting music at midnight. So glad I brought my own pillow as well as they were rock hard. Just felt itā€™s not as advertised. Needs an update."

"Our lodge was brilliant, lots of space inside, robes and plenty of towels for the hot tub. Staff were so friendly and helpful and everything was delivered and looked after perfectly. Lodge was really well equipped with everything we needed. Location wise being only 4 miles from Alton Towers was perfect for us and felt like a million miles away after a full day in a busy theme park. Would highly recommend staying in these lodges."

"We stayed in Lodge 11. Very happy with the size of the lodge, very spacious & most importantly, it was clean & tidy. Unfortunately it's a little tired in places, for example, a cracked Hob & chipped coffee table... For this reason, I can only give it 4*. The Hot Tub was immaculate, so hats off to whoever looks after the tubs.A couple of criticisms... The TV's aren't Smart which is a real shame & the mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing.Overall my family & I have had a great stay & would...

"Great location, beds a bit firm for my liking but itā€™s all personal preference. 2nd bedroom was turned into single beds but the positioning of the beds meant that the door didnā€™t close fully. Also the hall light was on a sensor and couldnā€™t find a switch to stop it - not great in the middle of the night when the door doesnā€™t close."
