"Room was tiny. No reception. We never saw anyone that worked for the hotel. This was especially a problem when some people staying at the hotel got locked out at 3am and spent half an hour banging on the door trying to get someone to let them in. "

"Quiet listing just off the street was as advertised with wonderful heated floors and plenty of daylight. It's just far enough from Old Town that it is super quiet, but an easy walk for food and coffee. It is also fairly close to the Sea if you like an early morning run along the Ocean. Parking was easy, but head's up on the passage way as it is a bit narrow. We made it through with a full size SUV rental though. Landlords were quick to respond to questions and we really enjoyed our stay. ...

"We had a great stay at this house which contains all you need and is in very close proximity to the hub of Westport. It is also at the right end of town to access the beautiful grounds of Westport House, which gives you a lovely walk/meander down to the Quay instead of using the road.Would just say that the house is at the top of a steep hill and our age range was 55-73, so if you are not fit it could be an issue for you.We would certainly stay here again."

"Our stay was really nice. Make sure you navigate to the exact coordinates provided by the host on Google maps. Attempting to navigate to the address will take you about 1/2 a mile (1km) away. "Staying at this Castle was a highlight of our trip. It has been updated with comforts as much as possible. We had a nice warm stay. This is a true standing castle rich with history. Perfectly located outside galway. Barry was an excellent and resposive host. I think he was just as exciting for us as we were to stay. I omly dinged cleanliness because its an ancient castle. If dust in the corners isn't expected, this is not the place for you. Book It!"

"I loved staying in this space more than anything! I miss it and still think of it fondly. It’s just so beautiful and peaceful, not too far from Oughterard if you need some cooking supplies, but out of town enough that you really feel one with the beautiful landscape that surrounds you. If I lived in Ireland, I’d surely be back. :)"

"CANNOT FAULT! The Yellow House was ideal for our family holiday, in gorgeous surroundings and in the most perfect location for Westport. A true home from home, with everything provided for a comfortable and very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to this most beautiful part of Mayo. "We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"

"Not only was the location, perfect for attending evens like Trad on the Prom down on the water, it was only a 15 minute walk into town where Quay street fun lured us to music dancing and laughing. . We loved staying at Niles Lodge! It’s a beautiful historic home that has positive energy.
