We are conveniently located 3-miles from the Youghiogheny Dam and boat launch that has a fantastic beach area for your children to play.

Looking for an adventure? We are 4-miles from the Youghiogheny River Trail (part of the Great Allegheny Passage) and 12-miles to Ohiopyle State Park. Test your endurance on one of the many hiking trails, take a guided rafting tour or kayak down the Youghiogheny River.

Come back and relax in our newly renovated cottage with an open floor plan, or give some of our extraordinary local eateries a try.

My friend and I really enjoyed our girls weekend at the cabin. Everything was so clean and decorated nicely. Nice view of the lake and the hot tub was great to relax in at the end of each day. Communication was great with the owner and would definitely stay there again if we would return to the area.

Perfect for a mini getaway
The rental property was very remote and perfect if you are looking to stay in and hang out outdoors. The location is secluded while remaining close to Ohio Pyle. The house itself was very clean and provided exactly what was promised in the description and while communicating with Rachel.

My partner and I stayed here for a couple days with our newborn. Everything being on one floor and the open kitchen design was really convenient, and the place felt warm and homey. Mid October was a great time to visit for the leaves!

Hidden gem
Awesome place located in a secluded spot right off Lake Youghiogheny for swimming, and hiking trails near by. Close distance to Lady Luck casino, Ohiopyle, and much more. The place was well stocked with basics, including firewood, and was very comfortable. Highly recomend!

Cold weekend without kids!
We enjoyed the home. The listing was accurate and we knew what to expect (rough gravel entry road). One challenge was parking, this is due to us having a larger SUV. The only issue is that it is a little tight and you have to plan out how to turn around. Other than that, the home was very clean and cozy. Our favorite part was the hot tub after long days of hiking in the area. Overall, we would recommend this place to anyone just trying to get away from busy life for a few days.

Highly recommend
TL;DR everything was great and we plan to come back We stayed for two nights to celebrate my daughter's eighth birthday and knew weather would be cold and rainy, so we were not sure how it would go -- but everything was perfect. The host was super responsive and suggested lots of kid-friendly activities. Between the game room, local hikes, the hot tub, and the fire pit, we had plenty to do. Plus it generally felt cozy and warm. I don't think the listing highlights the little reading nook around but that was a really nice part of our stay, too. We enjoyed the fall stay and hope to come back in the summer to enjoy swimming in the lake.

Cabin trip 2023
The house was adorable and clean. The owner was super helpful with all of my questions. They provided awesome info on where to go, places to eat, groceries, hiking trails, etc. The only thing that was a negative for us was the no yard. I did not realize from the pictures that there was not a yard for the kids to play football or run around in if we were hanging out the house while the baby was napping. The patio was nice and same with the covered area for the firepit though. The lake was easy and close to walk to. Overall it was a great place to stay! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet get away.

More than just a Cabin.
I had given a brief summary of why I was booking the cabin. As I walked in I saw the most thoughtful card and beautiful flowers. That was the start to the weekend my heart and mind needed. Rachel is so caring. The cabin is beyond perfect. I didn’t leave once the whole weekend. I found my peace, my calm, my serenity. I came with second guesses, scared about my future, anxiety. I left with answers, a clear head, and a new love and respect for myself. I can’t wait to come back again. This isn’t just a rental. It’s now a staple in my healing journey and my story. Lovely Rental
Lovely rental with a very sweet host. The location is perfect with lots of hiking nearby. Hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day and fire pit would have been nice (wood provided!) but we were too tired to enjoy it. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely relaxing cabin
The property is tucked away into a beautiful wooded area. The nighttime stars were gorgeous!I did expect it to be more private, but the neighboring houses were quiet. There was more vehicle traffic in front of the house than I expected, especially late at night but when we were inside you couldn't really hear it. I was very impressed with how welcoming, clean and inviting the whole place was. Little touches everywhere that made it feel like a perfect home away from home! Personally, I LOVE the decor!

We loved this property. Great location with the lake within walking distance. Very clean and cute inside. Loved the reading nook with the lights, the fire area outside, and the hot tub! (Really, we loved everything). Kids enjoyed the game room. Easy communication with the property manager. We'd love to stay here again!!
