This was a place of character...lots of antiques and sweet little touches. We were staying there the night before we left for an outfitter’s trip on horseback. Bud not only got up early to fix us a great breakfast but also packed lunches for us as well.
We were on a bike trip following the continental divide and needed another break from camping and Standing Stone was close. It was easy to find, but different to get to your room as no one was there to check in. That was all figured out, our room was nice and clean, a good place to store our bikes and great views of the mountains and property. The breakfast was most excellent and we had a great time before we left for our ride again.
Standing Stones is a unique and beautiful place. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are filled with antique furnishings that create a warm and comfortable feel.
The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was a restful place to spend the night
Breakfast was delicious and the company was a great way to begin our adventure around the lakes.
