Hidden Gem
This was exactly the perfect spot for my husband and I to escape for a few days. Quiet, clean, and close to the river. This is indeed a beautiful swimming hole with deep water. Just be ready for steps and a ladder to reach the water.

Frio river cabins 2024
Great location, 39 steps to river & about that to the highway, noisy. The river was cold & beautiful which was nice when it is 100 outside. I wish there had been some cushions to set on. Everyone was great to work with.

a short title for your review * lol
Nice cabin, clean, full amenities. Location is kind of close to the road but not an issue. Nice having the river right behind the cabin. Only a mile or so from Garner State Park too. Will have to come back sometime.

Cozy Cabin
Great cabin, right near the Frio River. Nestled next to a beautiful, giant oak tree. Very nice and accommodating. A little noise from the highway is the only complaint.

Nice place but totally overprice for what it is
Overpriced for one night for this place. The cabin is nice but there a few things that do not work. THe fan in the main room did not work. The coffee maker did not work. There is a night and a fan on the night stand but no outlet to plug them. I was told they would bring an extension cord but it never came. Also the river is indeed very close, however there is a big cliff to access the river with a vertical stair. So the access is not ideal if you have small kids or a dog.

A beautiful getaway!
This was such a nice stay! The property is secluded and felt private from the usual busy flow of river traffic. The cabin was so cute and tidy.
