"We had a relaxing stay. Great restaurants and shops to wander thru. Lake is super clean. Only downside to our party of 4 older gals was steep steps with no handrail and bunkhouse with no bath which didn't work for us. Super clean and well stocked. Thank you Kristen! party of 4"

"Five ladies on a little vacation. This was perfect for us. Very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed watching the geese, swans, ducks and muskrats from the cabin. Deer were everywhere. Lots of very comfortable beds to choose from. And all our questions were answered very promptly. Thanks for the great stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay. Dan and Norah were easy and timely to communicate with. All questions answered quickly and they were very willing to make sure the stay was everything we hoped it would be. The views and privacy are very nice. The home is comfortable - both fireplaces inside work nicely, and furniture is very comfortable. Location is nice - quiet, yet only 15 minutes from multiple towns for food, drinks, activities. We'd definitely go back in the future!"

"This is the dirtiest property I have ever set foot it and I have stayed in many across the country. It was clear this cabin was barely opened in the spring for the season. Upon arrival, my wife and I spent time rinsing spiders and dead bugs from the kitchen, shower, and bathroom sink. There was a musty, dusty odor. "This location on Balsam Lake was great. The host was very good at communication. Cabin is right in the lake. Has a nice dock for a boat. And this Cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Balsam that has great bars, restaurants and a newer brewery. My wife and twin 13 year old kids had a great time. The cabin is well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. We will stay again!"

"This is an amazing home. For us the location is ideal. We found enjoyable things to do in four nearby towns. We had a large extended family gathering to celebrate several anniversaries and birthdays. Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota were all represented. The hosts are some of the best we have ever encountered. Responsive with strong communication."
