"No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man . Unable to discuss various problems with A The oven that kept switching itself off and didn’t,t reach temperature! B Front door unable to lock properly!"

"Such a charming property in a beautiful, unspoiled region. We loved being in the countryside just outside Melides. Great pool and outside space with fantastic beaches and resturants nearby. Host was super attentive and gave us excellent local tips. Highly recommend!"

External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

"Well furnished. Property managers very helpfull. Property would benefit from a more uniform heating sysytem..our visit was the end of December. Detailed maos of ingress and exgress would be helpfull..not for the faint of heart. That all being said we had a wonderful visit to Lisbon, Setubal and the surrouns."

"We (5 adults, 2 children) had a wonderful stay at this villa, with the outdoor swimming pool and also the pool table particularly enjoyable. The house was equipped with all we needed for a comfortable stay and there were supermarkets within a 10 minute's drive. Vasco was a great host and available whenever we had any questions. I thoroughly recommend this villa for a stay in this beautiful part of Portugal."

"We stayed in this beautiful home and we had a great time! The communication between myself and the owner as well as Filipa was wonderful! Comporta area was very quiet which for us was perfect, no need for reservations at restaurants even at the weekend. "The location was within 15 mins walking from the beach but... going uphill, makes the best cardio stress test you can get for a while. The property is located far away from the main streets of the city which is good (for the noise) but bad if you intend to walk there, for the reasons already mentioned. The owners should fix the bidet plugs, put new bathroom curtains- one cheap one felt and the other was clogging continuously the drain (too long). Some pottery was old/rusty so not good for...
