"The house is as lovely as it looks in the photos. It has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The views were spectacular overlooking the sea and mountains. The hosts are available and friendly and even though it is attached to another vacation house they have made it easy for all with separate parking and entrances so you feel like you are in a private place. You definitely need a car in this area. The roads are winding and drop offs steep as one would expect in the mountains. Two towns...

"Communication was very good. Property was clean and well-maintained. Proximity to beach was outstanding. It's approx. 1/2 mile to train station, and taxis, if you can find one, are not very interested in transporting you (even though we had a traveler with an injury). Plan ahead."

The local village has an excellent supermarket, and the Cinque Terre coast, Lucca and Torre del Lago were all within easy reach. I hope to stay there again in the future."

"We had a wonderful week with our 2 children here. The house has a fantastic view of the sea and is located on a quiet private road so it felt very safe and secluded. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the terrace was a great place for meals with a view. The local towns of Lavagne and Sestri Levante provided plenty of shops and restaurants and we were able to do a boat trip to Portofino and a day trip to Lucca in Tuscany. Highly recommended. We will return!"

"My wife and I were quite pleased and truly enjoyed Christian’s house in Calice al Cornoviglio. The house is well furnished, everything worked as it was supposed to, and everything you need to have a good time is supplied. Especially nice was the “Welcome” gift we received when we arrived and checked in. The view out across the canyon to the hills on the other side is wonderful. And the little (tiny) town of Calice al Cornoviglio was fun and accommodating. One does have to be able to navigate...

"Not suitable for under 5's as many stairways and open banisters. Well supplied linen but rooms could have been cleaner. The electrical appliances supplied were not always compatible with the sockets. Many light bulbs not working. Many window mosquito nets missing or broken. The pool was lovely and was regularly cleaned. The owner was very easy to contact and always replied very promptly."
