Gull BnB - Lower Suite w/ Fireplace

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Within walking distance to downtown Comox. Huge main bedroom has a king size bed with a gas fireplace. Second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. Only 30 minute drive to Mount Washington and Comox Lake! Close to beaches, trails, golf courses, the marina, shopping, restaurants and pubs! Enjoy access to the backyard and a cozy hang out area off the entrance.

The space
Please note that this suite is in the lower portion of the house. You can hear footsteps from the upper suite, and sometimes voices. Please no parties as there will be guests in the upper suite and this is a very quiet neighbourhood.

Guests have access to the whole lower suite. Entrance is through the garage, with a private hang out area in the garage with comfy patio furniture. There is shared access to the private back yard.

I booked the lower suite and the rest of my family booked the upper suite. The property was beautiful and the suites were clean. The neighbourhood is quiet.

Not sure if is a legal suite
The windows are small. I don’t believe people could escape through them, and there is only one entrance exit to the suite. Overall, it was fine, but it was concerning. The one bed was extremely squeaky.

Comox house basement
Property was fairly clean, there were a couple of , looked like blood spots on the kitchen floor, and the sheets in the master bed had stains(hopefully!) on them. The master bed didn’t have a top sheet so it got hot not having anything but a duvet. The blinds were white so you were up when the sun rose. Our daughters said the mattresses in the bunk weren’t comfortable but overall a good rental on a quiet street.

Very enjoyable, just missing a blow dryer and I would prefer a bath sheet as opposed to just a bath towel, otherwise very comfortable and would definitely use it again

Fabulous place to stay
Is quite loud from unit to unit. HOWEVER if you had a group like reunion etc where you booked the whole house I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND this fabulous house. Big back yard in quiet neighborhood. 5 stars 🌟
