"Lovely stay. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Vicky was always on hand when needed and communication was great - super quick! Loved coming outside to the chickens and seeing the horses when we arrived. We had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend/return!"

"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

"We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "Really lovely property, nice and cosy. Only small bugbear is that some kitchen items were grimy/icky to the point that we bought cutlery from Boyes to use. Regarding parking, we have a long car (wide estate) but it has good manoeuvrability. Having said that, it was a parking space that we had to reverse out of and then down the entry lane. So we were fine with one person guiding (to avoid the stone walls) but it might not be good for some cars"
