They emailed me and said they had a ground floor room, but it was an upgrade from what I had booked, therefore I needed to pay another £20.00 per night. "From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. "

"Just returned home from a lovely stay at The Sandrock in Lynton. The Sandrock is a little out of the way of the main high street but still only a 5 minute walk to the shops etc. We stayed in room 4 which was clean and well appointed, the en suite was spacious (huge infact!)and the towels really fluffy, it was also super clean and tidy. The room had lots of little extras to make it cosy and homely. The bed was really, REALLY comfy, so much so that even my partner who usually struggles when we are...

"1st thing this isnt in Ilfracombe its combe martin which had hardly anything in it, so very misleading on hotels.com, ok, it was just a nights stop to break the trip up, wish we had knew it was a carvery as even though we was stopping there they was fully booked and couldnt fit us in, which i thought was bad service because surely they could of called us to offer us this knowing we was staying there the night, instead we had to go looking for food elsewhere and in combe martin there isnt much...

"We stayed at Jasmine Cottage for a little over a month and we absolutely fell in LOVE! The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable. John and Caroline were very responsive if we needed anything, as they were right upstairs and very friendly. We were able to park right in front kd the door, which made it easy to bring in groceries etc. Did we get a little lost finding it in the dark? Yes we did but it was our own fault that our phones were not charged...
