"The villa was excellent as well as the host, David. I have to say the views were magnificent! Great stay but was terrified of the spiral roads and heights was an issue for me. I wish i had know earlier as to how remote we were, i probably would not have picked the villa for just 1 week as it was a bit of a long trek from airport. But hindsight is a wonderful thing. The rooms were big and airy, the pool was a perfect size and cleaned 3 times in our short stay. We decided not to have it heated, which was perfect for the 30degree heat. The villas are all well equipped and spotlessly clean, the owners have thought of absolutely everything. Car essential in order to enjoy the surrounding countryside and visit nearby Comares. "Firstly, our flight into Malaga was delayed which meant we arrived at the property around 11:30 - the driver we arranged got us lost (not the property owners fault) sadly our minibus couldn’t take us directly to the property as the hill to the property was so steep *not mentioned in the advert* We had two over 70’s and 4 children between the age of 6 months and 9 years - if we had known the property was so hard to access we wouldn’t have booked. "We had a great time staying in Comares. The house is lovely and is very close to everything. It is literally 50ft from the main plaza. There is a Bar and a restaurant in the plaza, however, we really liked to go to Pepa's for breakfast, which also is very close to the house.
