Mountain Escape but close enough to all the attractions!
We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was close enough to all the activities we wanted to do but when we were done we got to go back to this perfect quiet mountain retreat. The hot tub was very relaxing. They had enough other activities that our three kids (5-12yr old) had plenty to do and had a good time, they looked forward to going back to the cabin at the end of the day. The communication and checkin/checkout process was seemless. We did not have any problems during our time there but I imagine they would have been very responsive if we had. The only slight knock we had was the downstairs smelled of a dog but that was a minor issue we got used to quickly. And to be fair, they did say it was an animal friendly property. Overall it was a 4.9 out of 5 and we would be willing to stay there again!

Beautiful Surroundings
My friends and I had a very fun time staying at this secluded cabin. The property was beautiful and we loved the location. Our only complaint was the hot tub temperature. We were a little disappointed because we were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub while looking at the beautiful views but it was too cold to stay in for long.

Cozy cabin
The cabin was very nice. Loved the decor and it was very clean for a pet friendly rental. A lovely 3 day getaway for my husband, 10 year old and pup. We enjoyed playing cards/games at the kitchen table and watching movies in the basement -couches were very comfy! A few things weren’t so great but didn’t ruin our stay by any means… ice maker didn’t work, limited dish soap/ nothing to clean dishes with besides a hand towel, beds/pillows were not comfortable and limited channels via direct TV. Overall we had a relaxing stay and the cabin was only 20 min from the ice castles!

Sub-par cleaning
Over all the stay was amazing. The cleanliness of the place was sub-par. Dead moths in corners. Cobwebs hanging from light fixtures in kitchen. The grill was un usable!!! The hot tub was full of sand. The buttons on the hot tub do not work properly. The fan in the upsatairs bathroom is cacked in lint and hair!! 2 garbage bags for 8 days. No coffee filters for the coffee maker. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 8 days.. The kitchen was horrible. Every pot and pan we used was crusty. The dishwasher was to hard to figure out how to close it so everything was washed by hand. One tiny travel size dishsoap ridiculous.?? These were issues i had asked about before hand and everything was taken care of?? Even the flowers on the dinning room table have codwebs in them. I have pictures of everything if you need to see proof. Might want to hire a new cleaning service.

Great for a long weekend!
This place was great overall. A few issues like hot tub wasn’t totally clean, and beds were very uncomfortable (7 nights was too long). But the house was fully stocked, communication was fairly easy when the tv wasn’t working. Negative is you have to keep your trash in the garage and it would have been nice to have some sort of can in there. It got pretty bad by the end. Also, we could never find the full bed. Our littles slept on the reclining couch in the basement. I wouldn’t call this a “full.” Location was great. Quiet but close enough to a few towns we like. Wish Vacasa’s fees weren’t so high. Thanks for having us!

Good location but some tlc is needed
This home is in a great location, most definitely a 4x4 drive in off the main highway. Furnished very nicely and many amenities not always available like soap, toilet paper tissues, laundry soap etc. These can all add costs to a vacation. The kitchen in particular needs some attention, there are only 4 forks provided. The ice maker does not work and there is a method to getting the dishwasher to close. Utensils and plates and cookware available but you have to look all over as there is no organization to it all. The window blinds throughout the house or are in disrepair and several deck chairs are broken and not usable. Communication with the site management (Vacassa) was good and we were provided all the codes for entry and directions promptly. We were not happy with the local Vacassa rep we were given as a contact. We had a concern/inability to get into the home on our third day. With perishable groceries in the car. Our phone message to the local contact was NEVER replied to. We were able to contact the central Vacassa office and that individual calmly walked us through resetting the code, and provided additional information to allow us access via the garage also and obtaining a key. It was dissappointing that in the 4 days of our stay that remained the local contact never replied to our original message or followed up in any manner.

Nice “home base”
This location was a nice getaway and close enough for day trips to many attractions. The cabin was clean and peaceful but could use some updates; new furniture upstairs, kitchenware, pots pans, … we only had 4 forks. Overall, I would stay there again!

Great Getaway
We loved every part of our trip but the cabin was our favorite part! We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the hot tub. The cabin had everything that we needed including extra blankets. I love that the cabin had 2 different living room spaces, the downstairs living room is so cozy. I highly recommend staying here and we would love to come back one day! Property management was wonderful as well, they were super helpful!

A nice cabin, but......
The cabin had a nice set up. When we arrived there was old trash in the garage. I called Vasasa twice. Nobody ever came and got the trash the 5 days we were there. The BBQ grill was terrible corroded with black charcoaled drippings. We cleaned the best we could the first night to cook on it, but made the steaks taste terrible. So the next day my husband took out the grill plates and cleaned off all the old gunk on it. It was better, but the BBG still needs a good cleaning. There were a few light bulbs out that need replaced. We didn't like all the extra charges for the hot tub, housecleaning, damage waiver, booking fee plus a service fee. These fees added up to over half as much as the rental fee. Other VRBO's that we rented from did not have all these extra fees.

Nice but not functional kitchen supplies available.
The main living area was smaller than the pics looked. Still nice. My biggest issue was the kitchen. I get, per the listing, if you have a fav spice or something to bring it but there were no baggies, sharan wrap or wrenolds wrap which I am Dow. With if you are trying g to save the planet but there were no containers with lids either (factually there was one but the lid was broke.) there was one tiny cutting board. I am guessing 3x6”. I get they aren’t fully stocked kitchens but this was pathetic. However, they do have approximately a hundred drinking cups. Also know you have to buy water, the refrigerator ice is broke and it takes about 20 min to fill an 8 oz glass of water. Beyond the kitchen failures it was nice. Shower is dark and the beds in the basement are only doable for kids. I also thought it would be more isolated. It is but you are a few feet from the road and you can see three neighbours. Also not a casual walk with your dog neighbourhood. Very steep, rocky and blind turns. It was a nice time overall. My dog did eat a lot of dog food from under the furniture and it was pretty grubby under the fur afire but I do my yoga and stretching so most people wouldn’t notice. Overall, if you aren’t heavily dependant on the kitchen as I am, it’s a solid stay but only youngefolk on the basement beds. They are worse than futons. 🤣

Amazing Dog Friendly Stay
What a beautiful and dog friendly property. It’s a beautiful cabin with hot tub set up in a small neighborhood but yet feels secluded. Multiple bedrooms with clean linens. A beautiful balcony overlooks the mountains so you can just relax and take the views in. We were so impressed with this place and our dogs loved it too. Would recommend this place to anyone especially those traveling with dogs.

Secluded and very peaceful
The cabin was very secluded and had beautiful views. This was our main motivation for choosing this cabin. The kitchen was stocked with most everything you'd need for meals. The hot tub was difficult to turn on and required a lot of You Tube research to figure out. Some instructions would have been helpful. Also, the blinds were quite dusty as were the comforters and pillow shams. They looked to not have been washed in a while. The actual pillows in the closet were a little worn and the cases looked like they could use washing too. The place was clean overall but those few details would make it really nice. We also struggled a bit to get the temps upstairs and downstairs to be comfortable. You had to turn the thermostat up to heat the downstairs but then it made the upstairs too hot. There was a fireplace downstairs we tried to use but the TV remote on/off buttons caused it to turn on/off. Weird! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
