There were so many things wrong with the place. It looked clean and comfortable at 1st arrival, until the sun came up and I got a real look around. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly,so I had to clean those upon arrival. I did like the place,so I was going to stay at that point.
I'll try to make this short.
I noticed dog poop on the rug the next morning,I cleaned it myself, but I sent a text saying that he should hire a different cleaning person. He sent his regular cleaner over to clean properly. She just walked in without knocking, walked around and did nothing, then said that she would be back. She never came back. The carpet smells like some type of weird chemical(probably dog poop cleaner),so the smell is 'trying' to be masked with those glade wall plug ins.
The house isn't as big as the pictures.
The outside is like dirt and sticks;you can't play out there.
You can't go outside after 10pm,not even just to talk low.
The house is cold. There is a heater, but that's no help if you can only change it to their set amount).
There is Netflix, but they have the basic account where only 3 people can watch-it always said something like too many people are watching so I couldn't..and no one was there with me so the company must use that 1 account for all of its properties.
Visible mouse traps
Saw 2 spiders
Windowsills were dirty
No starter tissue
Couldn't use the garage,
Ambulance trucks all night because of the busy street.
Stair banister is loose.
The basement couch had stains,2 remotes must have been used as dog toys because they have Chew marks.
I discovered hair clumbs on the window curtains while searching for my phone
There isn't a single side table in any room,so there isn't a place to set down a glass of water or anything.
It was too late for me to cancel.
A few good things:
The kitchen is nice(Just not set up like the pictures)
The beds are comfy to me. They are firm beds,so if you don't like a extra firm mattress beware.
There is enough space for 5-8 people and nice TV's in each room.
There is a bus stop a few feet away from the place if you need to get around.Walmart, restaurants and clothing stores aren't far.
If they find a new housekeeper and put their weird rules in the regular listing it would be better...like,you can't threaten me to wash the towels before I leave or I might get fined;that's strange.
There isn't enough silverware for a lot of people,or parking unless he allows usage of the garage for you.
