Wonderful cabin in peaceful location and close to many great sites that Colorado is known for! One of the best VRBO hosts that we’ve experienced in the last decade!
This was a beautiful cabin and property to stay at while on vacation. A great home base to do all of our sightseeing. Loved seeing the deer everyday and stargazing at night. Thank you for sharing this fabulous VRBO with us.
Stayed here for a family vacation and had an amazing time! We had a couple questions about working the fireplace, and the host was responsive and helpful. Soaking in the hot tub was a perfect way to end a day of hiking.
Definitely plan to have a “chill” first day here, as the elevation of the cabin is over 9000 ft. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, and there’s a ton of games that kept us entertained!
We had a weekend event at Mueller State park and this house was perfect for it. 10 minutes away. The cabin is beautiful, cozy and very homey. The view of Pike's Peak from the front porch isn't too bad either! All the decor was a nice touch as well. It made it even more comfortable. And finally, the hot tub is a cherry on top. The family loved it.
Our annual yoga retreat was spent in this idyllic cabin. Close enough to amenities and our homes in Denver but far enough away that we felt disconnected from the world and able to simply be in the space. We have a wonderful weekend and we would absolutely LOVE to come back!
Propert was beautiful! Great mtn views and tons of wildlife! Excellent communication when we had questions. Kitchen had everything we needed for meals. We had 9 people and had plenty of space for everyone. Would definitely recommend!!
The cabin was perfect! The view was amazing. We got to see elk and mule deer off the front porch. The grandkids didn’t want to leave. They loved it. I would recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely beautiful!!
Our extended family were camping in Mueller State Park. My siblings and I couldn't camp. We needed a location close to the park to drive back and forth. The cabin is beautiful and very well kept. We were able to come and go easily and the beds were comfortable and the environment very enjoyable. Loved the surrounding woods.
We could not have asked for a more relaxing atmosphere to spend a few days exploring the area. Sitting on the front porch or in the hot tub watching the sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of our stay. There was enough space to just relax and not feel like we were cramped. We cooked a couple of meals in the kitchen and they had everything we needed, the host was extremely helpful and communicated very quickly with us when we had questions we will definitely be back!!
Beautiful cabin. Host was very timely in his responses. Easy check in. The lower area of the cabin was cold at night, we were unable to get the heater to work. So it was uncomfortable sleeping in the lower level bedrooms. The kitchen sinks had no way of plugging the drains for cooking and cleaning. Overall loved the cabin.
Loved the solitude. Deer were waiting for us as we entered the gate. Elk strolled across the front lawn our first morning! From this point we visited Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Cripple Creek, rafted the Arkansas River and hiked Mueller State park. The house was perfect for our needs.
This cabin is set back beyond sight of the road, with pines and aspens all around and plenty of land to wander. Enough beds and baths for our group of ten to not be stepping on each other’s toes. We brought a card table to extend the dining table but also enjoyed eating at the picnic tables under the trees in the back yard. We had an issue with the TV, and the property manager came over to fix it for us.
Chris’s log home just outside Divide was the perfect place for our families to stay! He was very easy to connect with to make sure we had what we needed and provided a comprehensive guide book at the house.
We greatly enjoyed having plenty of space to ourselves with the large property and spacious house. We had fun sledding, soaking in the hot tub, movies and games, and making lots of wonderful memories. The location provides easy access to Woodland Park and there is a multitude of trails within a short drive which we made use of every day. We would highly recommend and will likely be back ourselves! Thanks Chris!
This house was the perfect size snd layout for our group of 7 sdults. It was cozy enough for us all to gather in one place, but spacious enough for us all to have privacy. We also loved the remote location and the peace that brings. Chris was very responsive to my questions about the broken dishwasher and the heater downstairs that stopped working. He was already aware of those issues, so hopefully he will be able to get those fixed soon.
