Sleeping Accommodations: The main level bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and an adjacent 3/4 bath. Up the floating stairs, the owner’s oasis includes a king size bed, a daybed and a glorious two person shower & soaking tub. There are 2 more bathrooms upstairs, one with a shower and one with a shower/tub. One other bedroom boasts a kids dream sleeping area - adults mind your head- but climb up a ladder up to a bridge crossing to a loft with a full size bedroom outfitted with a queen size bed. Below you will find an extra long full size bed. Also upstairs is another bedroom with a twin boat bed and pull out trundle. The 5th room has 2 more roomy full-size extra long adjustable beds where you can take in the beautiful mountain views from most windows, as well as an above the bed skylight: enjoy star gazing as you drift off to sleep! In the downstairs game room, a triple bunk bed is tucked away in the corner for those teens that like to fall asleep watching movies or playing games. If needing more bed space, there is an additional chair that converts nicely to a single bed for a child, as well as air mattresses available upon request.

Getting around: A short three minute drive will take you to the entrance to Pikes Peak Highway, and the famous amusement park the North Pole, (open May through December). The unheralded Wines of Colorado is walking distance from the house - a happening hot spot for creek side dining or wine tasting and a must do while you’re here. Ten minutes drive will put you in downtown Manitou Springs, where you can hunt for fountains in the quaint streets and sample underground natural spring water, known for its high mineral content. Here you will also find an abundance of shops and restaurants, a famous penny arcade, zip lining, and satisfy your sweet tooth with plenty of candy, chocolate shops and ice cream shops. Green Mountain Falls is only 5 minutes up the pass where you can have lunch and stroll along Gazebo Lake. Also within a 10 minute drive is the entrance to Cave Of the Winds and the famous towering red rocks of Garden of the Gods. The very happening downtown Colorado Springs is less than a 15 minutes drive. Only 25 minutes and you are at the South Gate to the renowned United States Air Force Academy. A short twenty minutes will take you to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, recently named the 4th best zoo in North America, and countless other attractions in southern Colorado Springs. Keep heading west up the pass and discover Woodland Park - a charming mountain town, home to the famous Donut Mill, and the site of the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center. Woodland Park is also home to Colorado Wolf Adventures and for a more relaxed evening, try one of the outstanding local breweries. If you come in the winter - day trips to world renowned ski slopes such as Breckenridge, are less than 2 hours away. Getting here: Fly in to the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) for a quick door to door transfer of only 30 minutes or take an hour and a half and drive the scenic route from Denver (DEN).
