Charming and Convenient
Great for a couple. Loved the location, located on one end of the long Manitou Avenue street full of small town restaurants and gift shops. To be sure, it is an old house; but if you are fine with that, then this gives you all that you need. We would stay here again.

Awesome house and area
Perfect house for the two of us. So close to so many great nature locations. And great to be able to walk downtown with ease. The only small issue was the fireplace didn’t work. We would stay there again in heartbeat !

The Best in Manitou!
I’ve stayed on this property a few times and love everything about this home. It’s right in town, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and hiking. The hosts are wonderful, communicative and easy to get in touch with if needed. 100% would recommend.

Cozy and comfortable in Manitou
I had a wonderful stay here. The house itself is great - cozy but not cramped and perfect for my solo trip. The backyard is wonderful and right on the creek so nice and serene. Location is nice, too - five minute walk to great coffee in the morning, but not in the middle of the crowds when things got going in the afternoon. The owners were also super responsive and helpful - when I texted with a question about the TVs, they responded instantly and got me sorted in no time. Great stay and I look forward to the next one.

My family absolulty loved this little cottage. It is nestled in a perfect location to so many wonderful things. It was clean and perfect. I recommend this place to anyone. I loved every minute there.

Parking spot was always taken by shop next door. House is nice but dated. Property manager did come when called about not being clean. Owner knows about parking situation because they offer a free public parking pass down the road. Would have made a difference in booking property.

PARKING!
This is a great little property to stay at in Manitou Springs. It is a great location right on the main strip. The only downside to this property is the parking. You cannot park right in front of the house. There is a parking lot a few houses down that the house has a pass for but it is also a pay to park lot. Therefore, you are not guaranteed a spot. This becomes a problem when you are trying to come back from a long day of sight seeing and have to try to find a parking spot somewhere until something in the lot opens up. This becomes a real problem when there is an event going on in the park! Also, when you arrive, there is nowhere to stop to drop off all of your luggage. They say they are working something out with the city to solve this problem. Hopefully they figure something out soon!

Overall our stay was good. The property inside was very clean. The couch was not very comfortable and the cushions slide out a lot. While it was a sofa bed the bed was not comfortable. The actual bed was ok but very squeaky. The backyard and the place I was looking forward to the most was just ok. The patio furniture was not comfortable for extended sitting and all the outdoor cushions were pretty dirty. I know it is hard to keep up with all the trees around, but I felt it could have been swept up at least. The worst part was the cooler left in the back full of very gross water and alcohol. It was very nice to be able to sit right by the creek though!!! The area is very quiet and it is nice to be able to walk right into town. The WORST part was not knowing that when the assigned lot fills out you are out of luck. We were out all day Saturday and came home to nowhere to park. After circling for 20 minutes we finally found paid parking. The fact that I had to pay 20.00 to park until the lot opened up not good. At least let people know in the welcome info to expect this. It was very stressful and ruined our evening plans.

Cozy little home in the perfect location...could not have been happier with our stay!
From the moment we arrived, we felt at home...the house was very comfortable and beautifully appointed...we had everything we needed for a nice long weekend. The location was perfect for exploring the area...within walking distance of many interesting little shops and restaurants and just a short drive to all of the attractions in/near Colorado Springs. The back patio was absolutely wonderful for sitting outside and enjoying a break from all of our running around...the sound of the creek rushing by was very relaxing and could even be heard from the bedroom at night. I could go on and on about how much we loved our stay here....it really was the highlight of our trip. There was only one thing that I can mention that wasn't perfect...the mattress on the sofa sleeper was thin and very uncomfortable...all of the metal support bars could be felt through it and it was too painful to sleep on no matter what position I tried...it was also very noisy each time I tried to re-position. Ended up just sleeping on the couch after the first restless night...but my mom and niece were very comfy in the king bed. :) Likely not an issue if you don't need the extra bed for an adult, but if you do, you'll definitely want some extra padding (children may not even notice or might be able to lay sideways). I really can't think of anything else that wasn't great about our stay here...we loved it and are so glad we found this place! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Perfect getaway
This was a super cute home in the perfect location! We were within driving distance of several attractions and within walking distance of shopping and dining. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed! Some other renters had a hard time with parking- we didn’t have any problems tho! Loved our stay!

Red Rocks with my Sis
Perfect cottage for my sister and myself to enjoy the nearby sights, hiking, shopping, and dining of Manitou Springs, as well as make the trip to Golden to catch a show at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Especially enjoyed the back patio area in the evenings, and close proximity to the Incline.
