Beautiful Home in Downtown and by Colorado College. New furnishings & Clean!

Home is located on a tree lined street in central Colorado Springs. The area is called the Old North End and was developed around 1900. The house is a remodeled home with 2 bedrooms, 1.5baths, sleeps 5. Our home was built in 1900 and features original wood floors and trim. Everything else has been updated. Kitchen has gas range, Island hood, tile floors, breakfast bar, adjacent dining room & more. The property has off street parking and is 1-2 blocks to Colorado College, 1 mile to downtown Colorado Springs, about 10-15 minutes to Garden of the Gods and quick and easy access to I-25. From the house you can get just about anywhere in Colorado Springs in 15-20 minutes. There is WiFi, 50 inch HD TV, cable tv and internet service, linens/towels/blankets/pillows and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Master bedroom has a queen mattress, the second bedroom has a twin Daybed and the living room has a full sized pullout Sofa sleeper. There is a front porch with table and two chairs and the back patio has a table with 6 chairs and two Adirondack type chairs with propane BBQ grill. The house has central Air Conditioning but being a 118+yr old home, the upstairs doesn't cool as well as the main level. The home is very comfortable and completely set up as a vacation home. The house was in a great location to access all the local attractions. Very clean and comfortable just as pictured. The host provided a lot of info on the house and area attractions which was helpful and very accomodating on our early arrival. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cute & Cozy Cottage
We chose this charming little house because of its proximity to family during the Christmas holiday. It was performed our family of 4, very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware, and the washer and dryer came in handy too. Great location very close to downtown, in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. The owner was very easy to work with as well. Would highly recommend!

The living space and kitchen were perfect for our weekend. Kitchen was stocked well for our needs. Great view of Pikes Peak when walking/driving on San Miguel. Central air conditioning kept us very cool during a weather spell in the high 90’s.

I spent 3 weeks here for business. The location was convenient to everything and located in a friendly, beautiful neighborhood. The first floor of the home was spacious and relaxing, lots of conveniences with old world charm. The bedroom and walk-in closet made it easy and convenient to access clothes and store luggage. Host was very accommodating and communicative. Would highly recommend for any age group.

Sunny days in Colorado Springs
My husband and I visit our son in September but needed to rent a place this year. This house is 5 minutes from his house and very close to downtown, where we like to hang out. It was a perfect place to end the day at, as well as have guests at during the day. We enjoyed the nice kitchen too; even cooked a meal there one night. I especially liked the check-in book which included the family history attached to the house. Would definitely stay again!!

This home had it all. Appreciated the coffee and coffee maker the first morning after getting in late. Lots of spices and extras for cooking. Used grill three times. Loved the back patio and outdoor furniture. Easy walk to Colorado College. Thank you!

Perfect choice for a small family!
The location of this house is just perfect for visiting Colorado Springs! You can walk to a cute neighborhood coffeehouse, Colorado College or just wander the streets checking out the interesting houses. It's an easy drive to downtown, Garden of the Gods or the Air Force Academy. The owners have thought of every detail, provided amenities and the charming house is in beautiful shape. Our family of three found it spacious enough and perfectly suited for our teenager. It was by far the least fussy check in/check out procedure we've ever had with a VRBO house too!

Location, location, location + communication
The property is exactly as described. The location is convenient to everything we wanted and needed and even a place we didn't know we needed...Hillside Gardens where our host's band just happened to be playing. We also liked the privacy hedges surrounding the property and off street parking. It was a short visit in effort to get acclimated to elevation before heading about 1000 feet higher (I did get altitude sickness, so beware and get plenty of fluids and electrolytes and you can buy bottles of oxygen boost at drugstore). I was a little crushed that I didn't have time and energy to prepare a meal on that gorgeous stove, sigh. The upstairs is very tight with 2 smallish bedrooms and a Jack & Jill bathroom, (was there a linen closet?) and that's it, so I think best for 2 friends (like us) or mom & dad and a couple of kiddos who play well together. Communication with Mark was outstanding & how we happened to end up at his concert. He was a very gracious host indeed!! Most of all, the location was perfect for getting in and out of town efficiently. It was convenient for averting Denver congestion entering from the east and then heading south on 25 (I believe) toward the Royal Gorge. No regrets - except for the not cooking thing!

Cute little stay
This house is in the perfect location. It’s small but the host has done a nice job creating plenty of space to hang out. The bedrooms are very small upstairs but it worked great for 2 of us. Bed was comfy and kitchen was great!! Mark was also very helpful and communicated well.
