Tried to check in at 4:30 no rooms ready. Then found out no elevator. Wife has to take inhaler everyday to breath. Can’t climb stairs requested 1st floor clerk said second floor the best he do. We come back at 8:30 and find the clerk put us on the 3rd floor said his manager told him to do so. We had to stop at every landing catch her breath wife could not make the climb again so we could not go out to eat. 8:00 next morning no food. Check out receipts had no numbers

We had to be switched around 3x to find a room to accommodate our family of 3. The second room was not cleaned yet. She finally got us in a room with enough room- the carpet was filthy, it smelled and there were roaches. The woman at the front was VERY nice and apologetic. This isn't her fault. But it was gross over all.

There were bags of trash outside a room for 24 hours, bathroom doorknob fell off, at breakfast there was nothing to drink, no coffee, no juice at all. Wanted a copy of my bill at checkout, the clerk was not able to pull it up. Poorly managed property!

The bed for our first night stay was made up with the dirty sheets still on the bed. After talking to the front desk the room thoroughly cleaned but the next day nothing was done. The 2nd room did not have service any of the three nights we stayed.

Pet friendly but no grass for pets
It was clean but lobby smelled bad. It’s pet friendly but there was no where on the property for my dog to go to the restroom. All the grass was dead and full of stickers. My dog went on the grass and had a ton of stickers all over her paws we had to remove them all slowly and it was painful for her.

LaQuinta used to be one of the nicest! This one, in Colorado City, Texas......SUCKED. I know it comes down to management. The management at this hotel needs to figure things out and if the staff isn't doing what needs to be done, to ensure clean rooms and necessities, there needs to be new staff! Hair in the shower, damp towels, carpets filthy, food in the floor of our room, over full trashcans sitting outside the front door, cigarette butts littering that same area, no napkins or forks with breakfast, I could go on! Suffice it to say, this LaQuinta needs help!
