"Highly recommend this accommodation if you are seeking a private, secluded place to stay but within easy, short travel to the city (any of Wgtn, Lower Hutt or Porirua). The deck area is fantastic - a view of the forest, great couches and the hot tub. We will definitely book again."

"A perfectly appointed beachfront unit with everything you need for a relaxing seaside stay. Plenty of parking and a nice 15 minute stroll to Paekākāriki village. Sunsets will not disappoint :)"

"I liked the view. I didn't like anything else. I booked it at short notice for a two week stay and moved out after 3 nights. The back door only locked from the outside. There was only one other door - not good in an emergency. Two of us staying. 3 towels, 2 face cloths, 1 hand towel and 1 bathmat. I had to move my bed so I could shut my bedroom door. I had to ask for heaters to be supplied. There was no wifi. Lacking in any charm."

"This is an exceptional property set in a beautiful rural location with exquisite views over landscaped gardens. It is so peaceful that you feel as though you’re miles from anywhere when you’re actually only 2km (a lovely walk!) from the town boundary. The cottage is incredibly well set up with everything you might need and Shona and Tony are fantastic hosts - friendly and helpful, and on hand if you need anything. "The property was very quite and clean and the location is excellent. The main essential where there but no frils which is okay considering the asking price. Communication sometimes lacking as stuff are either not easily reachable or slow to act which caused us unnecessary anxiety."
