Pure Luxury!

"Pure luxury and it was fantastic! We were upgraded to an apartment and it was so fabulous! Excellent attention to detail and a staff who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. But we will come back!"

Only a very few of us can truly relate to this genre of music. This was a free gig that was open to anyone and everyone. Given that there were 2 other events happening in Colombo and Mount Lavinia, we ended up having this hardcore fans who enjoyed the fraternity on a Saturday evening.

The only venue the rock community can get these days. But seems like this would be the last few concerts that we get to do here. The government is renovating the place, so they say. Till then we need to find another location.

If you are a Geek Fan, Geek HQ is the place to go!!
In the picture are both Veg and Non Veg Options; Geek HQ 's special burger named Its Cloebbrin Time, Chewie Sandwich the non veg option and Red's Big Fries. This all came to a total of around 4000LKR which was quite reasonable and was shared among 4 of us! While Milagiriya might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Marino Mall and Bellagio Casino.

Colombo, despite it's location alongside the ocean, still has a very industrial feel to it. For some reason, the contrast of this scene resonated with me.

If you're spending some time in Bambalapitiya, Marino Mall and Bellagio Casino are top sights worth seeing.

Coffee done right at The Grind.

A quaint escapade amidst the bustle of Union Place! Few meters away from the Odel Mall you will find this small, trendy coffeehouse.

In the picture is a Flat White and I absolutely loved it. There are only a handful of places in Sri Lanka where they do their coffee right and I can safely say that The Grind is one.

There are unique dishes and drinks available on their menu and it must be noted that their portions are really worth your buck and all prices are inclusive of service charge and tax!
