A charming 2400sf fully renovated two-story home with a finished basement available to rent for your vacation, family reunion, or relaxing weekend!

Lake house is within walking distance to historic Big Paw Paw Lake. The 2022 renovated interiors, patio, and furniture are suited for the perfect vacation getaway. There is a barbecue patio, parking space for up to at least 6 cars comfortably, and a balcony overlooking the lake from the two upper level bedrooms.

This spacious, fully furnished 5 bedroom, 3-bath home sleeps 14 comfortably. Views of Big Paw Paw Lake can be seen from the great room and also balcony. There are queen-sized beds in 3 of the bedrooms, one bedroom with two twin beds, a fifth bedroom with Cal-King bed and two queen sized pull out beds in the game room/basement that sleep 2 each. The upper level has two bedrooms and a bathroom to share with a walk in shower. The main floor has a living room/great room with large windows, a dining area, a kitchen with 7-seat bar, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a main floor bathroom. The finished basement has a pool table, two queen sleeper sofas, a private infrared sauna, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bathroom, and a bedroom with a California king bed.

The large sunroom has floor to ceiling windows with a kitchenette, a large dining/seating space, and a flat screen TV above the hot tub for you to soak away all of your worries. The main kitchen is conveniently stocked with all the necessities, including microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and much more!

Complete with a beautiful new patio, seating, and grill, this vacation getaway is perfect to enjoy the view from the patio with your morning coffee or to lounge on the patio after a lake swim. The best house!
This was our second time staying in this house for our annual girls trip. The house is awesome, lots of open space, a hot tub, fire pit and 5 bedrooms for a large group. Everything was wonderful, and the owner is very responsive. We really hope to stay here again in the future! Highly recommend!

Michigan Escape
We had a great stay at this home. Beautiful and clean and plenty of space for our big group. We did arrive 45 min early and paid a pretty hefty fee for it which we were disappointed in but was worth it in the end.

The home was beautiful & clean! It was a wonderful place for my adult children & grandchildren to gather & spend time together. We enjoyed gathering around the fire pit at night, and all the amenities it offered. We loved being able to bring our fur babies, too!

Great property
We spent the weekend here for a quick family vacation. We had 9 adults and 7 kids ranging from 6mos to 12 years old. The house had plenty of room for our large group. The hot tub room was a hit with the kids and the backyard was great with the fire pit and lawn games. We took a 15 minute drive to Lake Michigan for a day. We would definitely come back to this property

Weekend Getaway
We where a group of 12 who stated here. Very nice place for a weekend getaway from Chicago. Pretty close to the Beach and Benton Harbor. The house is done up very well. Would love to go back again.

Beautiful Vacation Home
We were pleasantly surprised by how beautifully decorated the house was. The kitchen was well equipped, which was helpful since we cooked most of our meals in the house. The children also really appreciated having an indoor hot tub with television. South Haven's beach was less than 20 minutes alway. Overall, I would highly recommend this house.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay:8-adults, 5 children and 2 pups and we had plenty of space. There is no waterfront access, so we drove to The Lake Michigan beach(~15 min). There were reminders of all the house rules, Wi-Fi info, checkout info on the fridge and in a binder on the dining table. It would be helpful to include local attractions/ things to do in the binder.

Wonderful Stay
This house accommodated my family of 11, which ranges from 5-63 very well. There was something for everyone to enjoy. My family loved the sauna, hot tub, corn hole, pool table, and tv. The space is wonderful. The kitchen has everything you would need for cooking. Renters should be aware that cell service is spotty in the surrounding area (for us at least), and there seemed to be limited shopping/dining options. One other thing to note, the house does not have room darkening curtains in the bedrooms which we appreciate to not be woken up early in the morning as well as for kids going to bed earlier and the sun shining in. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Michigan trip
The house was nice but really only accommodated 10 adults for sleep, futons were not great. We fought ants all week and actually took the kitchen rug out to the covered porch to get kitchen free of ants. The lake was only accessible with a boat which we did not have. WIFI was very poor and some of our party needed better quality for work. House has a few lake views but no access.

Rental House for Son's 2020 Wedding that was Cancelled due to Covid-19
Overall the house was fine and accommodated our family of 8 adults, 3 children and one infant well. Sunroom was great, the hot tub was a little greenish and the backyard fire pit was awesome. This rental was booked for May 7-11, 2020 in November of 2019 for my sons wedding which was supposed to be May 9, 2020. Final payment was due on March 23, 2020. I paid early on March 9, 2020 right before Covid shutdowns began. The wedding was cancelled on March 13th, so on March 19, 2020 I attempted to cancel and get a refund on the rental. (This was before my final payment was due, but they already had my money!). The property Manager responded that full cancellation refund could only be given for nights that fell between March 13-April 30, 2020. We could only receive a 50% refund or rebook within the year. All of the other 140 wedding guests that had hotel rooms and VRBO rentals (including another house on Paw Paw Lake) received their full refund!! We opted to move the rental reservation a year out until May of 2021 so as not to lose over $3000 in rental fees. As I mentioned, the house was great for our immediate family for our stay from April 30-May 3, 2021. The damage deposit was promptly refunded on May 5th, but the property manager sent me a message the next day accusing us of having a dog during our visit and she would have to file a claim. WE DID NOT HAVE A DOG! She sent me a pic of some small dirt prints on the white cushion from the sun room. The whole experience of this rental was very frustrating and I would be wary of recommending it for that reason. We have been using VRBO for over 10 years and probably 20-25 rentals around the country and not had any experience like this.

Overpriced and unpleasant property manager
My family rented this house while we were in Michigan for my daughter’s wedding. It was not our first choice, but it seemed to be the best we could find in the area ( I was pokey booking). Right from the beginning, the property manager was pretty assertive (pushy) in every communication, demanding at times. The description of the property says it is pet friendly, but I ended up paying $1000 extra for 4 small dogs (all well behaved and potty trained). I’ve never had to pay that much anywhere else. The house was fairly clean, but no one was comfortable using the pots and pans, dishes/glassware was mismatched and had to be washed prior to use. Most all of it including furniture has seen better days. It was close to the wedding venue, so we made it work and it would have been fine. I would not be giving a negative review except for the fact that I have just been informed by the property manager that the owner has decided to retain half of the damage deposit because I had guests over without permission. As I said, my daughter was getting married, after the rehearsal we had a catered brunch for the wedding party and the groom’s parents. It was really nice as the house had two outdoor areas, a sunroom as well as the main living area. It was not a wild party it was brunch for about 20 people at 12:00-2pm. The only reason that the property manager even knew about the brunch was because I called her prior to the event to inquire about parking. At that time she indicated that there would be an additional charge for this. I firmly but politely told her no. No where in the contract did it say that I could not have guests, unless they were overnight which they were not. They are claiming that because of this event, additional cleaning was required. This is absolutely not true. The caterer removed everything after the event. We did everything per the exit instructions. Perhaps additional cleaning was required because the cleaning person brought her newborn baby to work with her. We only know this because we forgot something and had to go back to the house. We stay at home rentals often, and I cannot recommend this property. It was overpriced for the location (not on the lake), the property manager was too aggressive and to top it off they charged a non refundable pet deposit of $1000 (for no damage) and now want an additional $250 for not seeking permission for something not required in the contract and non existent extra cleaning. Lesson learned, book early

When we arrived, I use the downstairs bathroom and noticed that the towel bar was detached. I should’ve taken a picture of it, but did not. After our stay, I was charged for said towel bar, even though no member of my party caused the damage. Being charged for something you didn’t do leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Perfect Friends Getaway in Coloma!
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Coloma! It comfortably fit our group of 14 (9 kids), with plenty of space for everyone. The family-friendly games kept both kids and adults entertained, and the amazing kitchen had everything we needed to cook big meals. Tons of tables and chair options to keep all 9 kids happy with where they were sitting! The outdoor space was excellent, perfect for smores, playing bags, relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The hot tub was a huge hit, especially with the TV to watch while soaking. The sauna felt brand new and was a fantastic perk. The owners were incredibly responsive, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. We also loved the proximity to Hagar Beach, which made for perfect days of sun, sand, and swimming. While this house is dog and cat friendly, there is NO evidence of animals in the house. Very clean and no issues for those of us with pet allergies and sensitive asthma. The only thing missing was direct beach access. However, Hagar beach is a short drive for a perfect day in the sun and sand. Overall, this house exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful setting for our friends reunion vacation. Highly recommend!

Coloma vacation
We had a great week in Coloma visiting beaches, fishing and biking. Our house was in an ideal location and was very clean and welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and the people in the area very friendly. Plenty of space for four families. Would definitely recommend this property!
