Huge 30' round heated pool with surround deck on a beautiful 10 acres.

Perfectly situated half way between South Haven and St. Joseph. Plenty of parking for all. Perfect for large groups. Two miles from South West Michigans largest inland lake (Paw Paw Lake), 9 miles from Jack Nicholas designed Harbor Shores Golf Club (Senior PGA Championship), 7 miles from Van Buren State Park, 1 mile from Di Maggios Pizza!

Perfect for big groups

We stayed at this home with my children, their spouses, grandchild, and a few of the wedding party, for my son's wedding nearby. The house was perfect for big meals, yard games and plenty of room to spread out for makeup and hair! Wish we had more time to spend there and enjoy all it had to offer!

Perfect for Large Families

We love staying at Gray Haven. This was our second visit and we already have the home reserved for another year. We love having a large kitchen to prepare meals, a dining table that will fit everyone together and all the places we can relax around the house. The host is quick to respond and very friendly. Gray Haven is perfect for large family gatherings!

Beautiful Home

Gorgeous home for a large family get together. Tons for kids to do ... big open field to play, play set and pool. Lots of space to sleep. Big kitchen for cooking. Owner was very easy to work with and communicated quickly. Great rental.

Family reunion

It was just what we needed for the group we had seven adults and 13 grandchildren. Lots of room inside and out and with the nice pool outside we didn’t have to chase around for child entertainment.

2024 Cronister Family Vaca

Excellent! Country Estates was very comfortable and accommodated our four families. It was well supplied with what we needed and was very nicely decorated. The kids enjoyed the larger heated pool and we played outdoor games on the patio. Adults enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit in the evenings.

Wonderful Place

We needed a place for our bridal party and their plus ones to stay. This place was wonderful, it slept everyone, kitchen was big enough to feed everyone, living room allowed us to hang out and finish flower making. Place is wonderful.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic stay for a yearly family reunion! Large open dining area/ living room (and multiple board games/ toys), huge kitchen for cooking/ cleaning (with everything you need, including griddle for pancakes, tea/ coffee selection, welcome goodies, and grilling tools), and pool with locked fence (child safety!). Secluded area surrounded by woods. Easy check-in/ check-out process. Great communication with owner. We did not leave the house all weekend. Definitely recommend!

A spot with great indoors and outdoors

This house is a wonderful place for a family trip. Its size and delightfully unusual layout (including its extremely large number of beds and enormous great room) are hard to describe adequately. Also worthy of note is the kitchen, which was equipped with everything even a gourmet chef could dream about. Perhaps the best part, though, is the family-oriented outdoor areas, including a terffic heated swimming pool (which we stayed in for entire afternoons) and deck, a large covered porch, a fire pit with a gargantuan quantity of firewood and a huge grassy play area made for kids and dogs. Even with some rainy weather, we could not have had a better long weekend.

Family Vacation

This is a beautiful home and property, inside and out. Large open spaces, yet cozy at the same time. The pool and firepit were enjoyed by all. Close to beach towns, wineries and activities but you really don't need to leave the house to have an amazing vacation. Highly recommended!

Family vacation

Gray Haven cottage was even better than the photos! It was set up for large family groups, kid safety features, playground and pool were loved by all! Very clean too! Lots to do nearby: beaches, blueberry picking, small town shopping, hiking! We will try to come here again! Highly recommend it to all!

Beautiful property; perfect for large gatherings

Our family of 17 loved our stay at this property. The house has a unique design which allows for additional privacy (and fun!) by its layout. The kids loved the lofts; we all loved sitting on the porch area. The playscape (and really the whole house) is larger than it appears in the photos, as is the pool. The side yard is nicely mowed allowing for yard games and activities. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. We had several questions in advance of our stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this location!!

Grand haven is amazing!

This is our second time staying here and we love it! The house is beautiful and setting is perfect. So much fun and we can't wait to come back next year! We had a group of 18 and we all had plenty of space. Highly recommend!

Great House for Large groups

This house is outstanding for large groups. The central room for meeting, dining and watching tv, etc is huge and has several places to sit and visit. The bedrooms are great and the number of bathrooms is great as well. The pool was just perfect for our crew with the maximum depth good for our smaller children but deep enough for all to enjoy. The fire pit was great for smores and visiting at night. The playground was great as well. The whole house had enough gates to prevent falls from our children and the outside yard was huge with great privacy. Plenty of toys, seating and overall joy in the whole house. I recommend this house for sure.

Great property for a family!

My only concern is that two of the”bedrooms” were lofts, one of which we could not use due to the ladder access and the ages (70+ and <5) of our family. Otherwise we had a great time. Close to lake Michigan and South Haven- plan to return!

Fun Family Vacation!

Our entire family had such a wonderful time staying here for the weekend! We have so much fun around the house we ended up not even going out to planned dinner because the house was so spacious and convenient. There was more than enough space for everyone to have their own room, plus the amenities included made it even easier to enjoy our time there. We are so grateful to have spent a beautiful weekend at this house and will certainty be back soon!

Clean, Comfortable, Great Location, Great Host

Our family of 20 (grandparents, kids, grandkids) loved this house! The house had plenty of space to spread out when we were stuck inside on rainy days. There are so many areas to lounge, play board games, and for the kids to run around. The kitchen is huge! We had 8 adults cooking at once and still had room for more. The house was very clean and well maintained and the host was welcoming. We already booked for next year!

Wedding weekend

This house will take your breath away. Our daughter’s entire wedding party fit with plenty of extra room. The grounds are amazing. The outdoor games, pool and fire pit made for some great memories. Many thanks to our host Eric for letting us stay at this home.

Amazing property

We had a family reunion with 19 family members. This property was the perfect place to hand out, swim and explore. The house was large enough that we all had space to move around without feeling crowded and it was decorated very nicely. They even had snacks and a wonderful coffee/bar for us! The host, Eric, was great to work with. We will definitely keep Gray Haven on the list as our first choice for the next family reunion!

Family Vacation

We chose this location for the close proximity to different beaches and the St. Joe area. A plus for the kids was the Sarret Nature Center which had easy trails for walking and exploring plus the inside building of frogs, turtles, snakes, and bird watching. The pool and firepit were used every day we were at the house and our grandkids loved the open spaces to play yard games. They spent many hours playing hide and seek in the house as well. Owners did an outstanding job providing everything you would need and more !!

Great escape

Gorgeous property! Very quiet, and loved that it was pushed way back from the road. Lots of open yard space, really enjoyed the pool and fire pit. The house was perfect for a large group (esp kids and pets). Loved the ability to gate off certain areas, the loft for kids to sleep in and captain’s quarters! The decor, furnishings, appointments, cooking tools, games and outdoor toys were appreciated. Proximity to the beach was nice but we ended up never leaving! Great visit!
