Convenient Location to Public Transit
Positives: The receptionist/innkeeper was great and so nice to help direct us. Beds were very comfortable. Location was at a perfect spot to use the transit system there. Downside: The shower was a little frustrating - the shower faucet would not stay in place and the overall bathroom would get very damp. General statement: It has a little bit of a hostel feel in terms of returning the key at the front desk if you have to leave.

Not very "elite"
The room was sparse, but clean and comfortable. The elevator had already been broken for two days and would remain broken for at least a week (our room was on the 5th floor). The breakfast was fine. The public areas are shabby and not well maintained. The staff is not particularly professional, although pleasant. The area is full of interesting restaurants, etc.

We'll know better next time.
We took a chance due to high Exhibition demand and prices We'll know better next time. There were no redeeming features. Hopefully they'll invest some of this week's higher profits into renovations. It was hardly Elite!

a very friendly staff member and good value - also near to the station. the area isnt the best but has everything you need. its good value but everything is a little dated as you would expect for the cheaper price. ideal for a stop over though.

Way overpriced
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It is a great location, right near the Koln Sud railway station (Cologne South), which is a few stops from the city's central station. It is also near a tram stop to the city centre. The neighbourhood has a young vibe and is quite safe. The hotel provides a clean but basic standard of accommodation. It is efficiently run. The one drawback is the cost. We were charged probably double what an equivalent hotel costs elsewhere in Europe, from our experience.

Far from city centre. But near tram station. Otherwise it's walkable to city centre about 30 mins. Includes breakfast but choice very limited. overall good budget hotel.

It is basic but clean. Breakfast is much more and better then any H..... I.. Expr.. The location is cental. Lots of student type pups and restaurants around. Easy access to public transport system. Parking space is rare.

Clean, close to the University
The staff at Hotel Elite went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Most importantly, the room was very, very clean. The internet isn't free but the connection is pretty good and the hotel is close to tons of restaurants. If you're looking for perks and service this probably isn't the hotel for you but if you just want a safe and clean place to say Hotel Elite is a great option.

Helpful staff. Small hotel but not bad at all if you do t want to spend a lot if money when you are traveling. Tram stop 2 mins from hotel and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Nettes gut zentral gelegenes Hotel
Hotel war, wie vorher telefonisch übermittelt, schon vom Zug aus zu sehen und in 2 Minuten erreichbar( nur über Treppe vom Gleis runter und die Strasse überqueren). Sehr netter Empfang, Zimmer sauber, tolles Bett(gute Matratzen). Sehr nettes Personal(hat uns bei jeglichen Fragen, sofort geholfen. Frühstücksbüffet sehr lecker und ausreichend mit sämtlichen Extras. Am Abreisetag konnte man sogar das Gepäck kostenfrei und sicher unterstellen. Wir werden wieder kommen :--))

Sober hotel in de buurt van station en tram buiten het centrum. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. Sobere kamers met goede wifi. Vrienelijk personeel. 3 Km van het haubtbahnhof.

Tæt på natteliv
Meget basalt hotel der kun lige indeholder hvad man kan forvente. Hotellet er noget slidt i det og alt fra møbler til gardiner virker gammelt og uddateret. Vi havde udsigt til en baggård, men det betød at der var ro om natten. De har kun få parkeringspladser, som til gengæld er billigere end mange andre hoteller og morgenmad var inkluderet i prisen. Der blev skiftet håndklæder dagligt og der blev fyldt op af sæbe på badeværelset. Rengøringen var tilfredsstillende. Personalet var hjælpsomme, venlige og talte et godt engelsk. Morgenmaden indeholdt te, kaffe, juice, brød, forskellige morgenmadsprodukter, frugt, æg og bacon. Hotellet ligger lige rundt om hjørnet fra Zülpicherstrße hvor man muligvis finder Kølns bedste natteliv med sine mange barer og restauranter. Det er stadig i gåafstand til centrum og domkirken.
