Okatoma River Cabin/ Convenient Location

Secluded cabin on the banks of the Okatoma River. This property is approximately a one-hundred acre parcel that has trails and river frontage. The views of the river are phenomenal but the fishing from the porch is even better. This cabin is fully stocked inside and outside. Perfect for family, friends or romantic couple getaways. It’s a very convenient location, not even five minutes from the town of Collins. Grand Paradise Waterpark, Burdens Atv Park, and Salem Opry House Restaurant are a few of our family favorites all within a ten minute radius from the cabin. Canoeing and Kayaking are also available in the next town over with a shuttle service.

Very peaceful! This was exactly what we needed and wanted. A very secluded place, perfect for relaxing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend get away. Only downfall is there's no good dinning in the area. For us it was a place to get away.

From the first turn off you can already feel the relaxation come across. The house and land was just perfect. The house was stocked with all the amenities one could want, and the loft under the home had dart board, corn hole, basketball goal, and swing. The family absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back

Perfect in every way!
The cabin is very private but close enough to the grocery store if you forget something. The cabin and grounds were comfortable, clean and quiet. Will visit again.

This was a great get away for our boys and us. Beautiful property and extremely well stocked. Would recommend to anyone. Do arrive during the day, as you can not see the drive from the highway.

Very secluded property
Property is as described, located on 100 secluded acres next to a spring fed creek. Creek not easy to access due to steepness of banks, but did find a small beach next to good swimming spot, about 300 yard walk on trail from house. Would definitely stay again. Google Maps app has location wrong but phone call to host got us there easily.

Shantell thank you for sharing your beautiful home. It was perfect for enjoying time with our family that lives close by. Collins is such a cute little town. The property was secluded and private yet only minutes from downtown. The cabin is tastefully decorated, very clean and provided everything that we needed. Being on the porch with the sounds of nature made it hard for us to leave. I highly recommend this home. You will definitely need to call to get directions. My GPS did not take us there. But the host is quick to answer.

Relaxing Retreat
Trip started on the wrong foot… GPS took us to a different location and we had a tough time finding the property. Maybe sending a “pin” in maps would allow visitors to find exact location easier. Once we were there, it was perfect! Cabin was very clean and stocked with necessities. No wifi, so be prepared! We could only get 1 of 3 TVs to work, but that didn’t stop our relaxing family vaca! Lots of walking in the woods and relaxing on the porch. We’d love to go again in the future!

Nice little getaway
This was the perfect location for a wedding we attended in Collins. Super close to town but still quiet and remote. I brought the fishing pole and we did a little hiking. Sitting by the stream next to a fire in the evening was lovely. It had everything we needed. Only comment is there is a loud-ish wiring/vibration sound from the meter that is located under the master bedroom. It was hard to fall asleep the first night. I would tell the housekeeper to improve the dusting as well. Lovely little place. Would definitely return.

Peaceful and serene
This is such a lovely gem. The view is outstanding and watching, listening to the river and wildlife around there was like heaven. Only downfall for me is I have a bad back and only 1 inside and 1 outside chair was comfortable. The couch and recliner inside not so much but I have trouble in most places and use a heating pad to get back on track. I would book this again. View, peacefulness, and location to anything I needed.

An excellent place to stay!
Very well equipped and lacking nothing except ice cube trays. Owners did a fantastic job building this house/camp/cabin. It's more house than anything and is pristine and perfect. Great beds and total comfort. No wifi and only 2 bars on mobile devices if you're lucky. It's on the river and we were really hoping to sit on a gravel bar in our swimsuits and enjoy the water, but the only access is a ramp of sorts and it's not really a place for swimming or wading as the bank is very steep. But it's quiet and secluded and our dog could run and explore outside with no problem at all. Highly recommended!

Nice overall
Home and property were nice. Property is secluded but can hear highway/train noise. Property entrance is unnecessarily hard to find and would need a more visible marker (not sure emergency services could find if needed). Address didn't show up on several map sites. Home doesn't have wifi and TV's in bedrooms don't have satellite. River running through property is not easy to get to for kayaking and has lots of trees in it. Home is probably ten feet off the ground and there is only one door to home. Didn't see smoke alarms in kitchen/front of home. There wasn't charcoal for bbq pit. There were flies in the coffee pot water reservoir. Saw deer, squirrel, rabbits, and lots of birds during our stay.
