"On our 10 days trip on Sardinia,this was definitely the best stay. Giuseppe and his wife Jessica were the best hosts. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. Giuseppe also organized great dinner for us in restaurant which we would not find on our own. The room itself was perfect. Clean and spacious with all amenities you could need. "The location is beautiful and the property in itself is nice especially the rooms area. For a 4 star property it lacked basics. As seen in brochure and all photos of the property they give prominence to the pool, but visiting the place in the last week of June and they tell you the pool is not in use, does not look nice at all. "

"L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"

"Room was uncomfortably hot. Air con terminal stopped pumping out cold air about 3am and the room became unbearably hot. There was nobody to be found in the hotel and my family of four had to stand outside multiple times in the dark to get some air. We managed to get the kids back to sleep after several hours by placing wet towels on their back. We wanted to complain at check out but there was still nobody to be seen!! A single person who was in the restaurant just told us to leave our key at the...

"A wonderful property and experience. The room was impeccable in all ways: clean, comfortable, and well-designed. The host, Rosa and her husband, were affable and treated us as friends. The village is small and quiet, and close to important archeological sites. As charming as this property is, when the murals in the courtyard are finished, it will be even more enthralling. We had a delicious dinner in a cozy dining room. Definitely recommend. Also, great for families. "

"I enjoyed staying in the small village. The locals were lovely, friendly and kind. The management of the hotel were excellent - very warm and kind. The local bakeshop, where we had coffee every morning - Shardana - was also excellent. The owners were very hands-on and invited me to dinner to meet some of their friends. You don't get this in large hotels."

"The whole place seemed to be run by one person, a lady who could not speak a word of English. She was nice and all smiles, but ran the hotel rather unprofessionally. She was not to be found in the original reception, but had set up some sort of reception in the restaurant so she could cover the restaurant as well. At checkout, we had to show her a printout of our booking to get the quoted price. Many things were broken in our room. The refrigerator, the shower head mount, the soap dispenser....
