Not a lot of tourists around, if any, but since it's historically a bit of a tourist town, there's a bit of a weird balance - I had difficulty meeting people, and apart from the hotel and a sprinkling of restaurants, all of the businesses and homes are currently in a temporary village outside of the old town walls. "Per il prezzo chiesto non ci si poteva aspettare molto, ma almeno un bagno decente dove ci si possa voltare e senza puzze di scarico... Per andare sul water occorre mettere i piedi dentro la doccia. Dall'esterno locale un po' fatiscente, disordinato e sporco che fa il paio con gli interni. Sicuramente non andrò più prima di una ristrutturata totale. "

"We have stayed before in Villa in Italy but this one is above any expectations. The house is stunning, the owner and people who take care of the place were super responsive and lovely to deal with. House could use some door screens (I think they are installing them) and maybe a few little things for the kitechen (we were a group of foodies who loves to cook) but they offered to get what we need and I can not imagine a better place.
