Timber Home History:
This is not any house; but part of A&M's history: Built on 1917, used to be an “Old Campus Home” located on the west side of Henderson street. This American four-square was home for the Cashion family. M.L. “Red” Cashion, was a “campus kid” who became one of the most well-known NFL referee in professional football history... was best known for his famous “FIRST DOOOOWWWNN” call, sent out over national television screens. Ref's house has been extensively remodeled, but the house’s original shape remains visible. A historic plaque was granted to this home in 2020 to remember the A&M history throughout the years.

Drive through the Southside Texas A&M campus and past Kyle Field as you approach this historic A&M campus home, recently remodeled home-away-from-home.

Experience:
-Kick off your vacation on the shaded front deck enjoy a cold beverage or organize a group yard game in the immense green space.
-Stepping inside the property, you'll be impressed by the well-appointed and brand new interior, offering sleek original hardwood flooring and modern furnishings throughout.
-In the open-concept living area, there is plenty of seating to relax and unwind with your group. As you wait for dinnertime to approach, flip on the large flat-screen TV or forge a flame in the wood fireplace.
-When everyone has worked up an appetite, make your way into the stunning fully equipped kitchen and a sizable island featuring a breakfast bar. Set the formal dining table for 6 to share in your culinary creations + 3 stools at the kitchen bar.
As bedtime approaches, start your nightly routine in the master bedroom with a king bed, mounted flat-screen TV and a walk-in shower. When the others are ready to turn in, they can enjoy nights of peaceful sleep in the additional bedrooms, each offering an en-suite bathroom.

Great house! Perfect location for campus events. Hosts were easy to work with, and everything was as expected. Backyard was a mess and hadn't been mowed in a while. So if you want to use the grass yard, you may want to mention that beforehand, but it didn't affect our visit much.

This property is close to campus which made us able to walk and pick up the kid's rings from campus. The house was perfect for our two families and we were able to host several of the kid's friends for meals without feeling cramped. We would definitely stay here again.

Celebrated Easter in C-Stat with our Aggie, Enjoyed the home for the weekend. Great living room for relaxing, enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard as well for some s’mores in the evening. Best stocked VRBO we've ever used. HVAC was hot or cold, but we managed. The oven was dirty as was under the sink. The coffee grounds in the Mr. Coffee had been left for a long time - molded! Housekeeping missed it. Never mind that small stuff. The house was GREATNESS!! Plenty of room for the little ones to romp and play. Pleanty of room for the olders to be comfortable and could relax. Could not have asked for better hosts. Loved the firepit! Would have used fireplace however there were no tools so didn't feel comfortable doing that. Great layout! Great history. Convenient to TAMU, grocery, and other enertainments. Use of the garage was a big plus as we had six vehicles at times. Loved the side parking where the minivan is setting as extra parking space. Having 205 available helped make our ccelebration weekend a huge success!!!

The best College Station experience
The host Stephy was amazing. She was so generous, kind and super responsive. I always got her reply within an hour or 2. She had kind words, great advice, great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The house was very well located. It was close to the Southside garage and Kyle field,, grocery stores, restaurants. The neighborhood was safe and wonderful. We lived here with my kids and aged parents. The house was very living friendly for all ages. The house was well stocked, clean, a lot of fun game boards, an amazing collection of books. It felt like home away from home. Thank you Stephy for a fun stay and making us feel at home. We look forward to our next trip already.

Impressive all around
Very nicely appointed home to host a family gathering inside or out! Lovely fenced yard and a great courtyard off the kitchen. Kitchen is large and extremely functional - nice appliances and plenty of dishes to choose from. The bedrooms are HUGE and all the beds are comfy and the sofas... wow... the sofas!! We all piled up and hung out like royalty ;) - I will be shopping for those when i get back home! This home is special and our hosts have been very accommodating, understanding and responsive. Their home has been imprinted on our family's memories and it will continue to be a bright spot for us all. Thank you!!

This property is the most perfect spot for anyone looking for a spacious home within walking distance of campus/Kyle Field. It has absolutely everything you might need and more. The kitchen is basically like your own home’s - fully equipped with whatever might be needed. The beds are all comfortable and the couch is one of those that you melt into and could have a hard time getting motivated to get up from! The backyard/patio is amazing as well. It was the perfect setting for the small gathering we had for our daughter’s ring dunk. The property manager is also the home owner (and an Aggie!) and was very responsive and made sure we had all we needed. We will absolutely book this home again!

Perfect Aggieland rental
Wonderfully renovated historic home on the edge of the most sought after neighborhood in Aggieland. So easy to walk to campus or drive to any business area in any direction. But even better, hang out in the front yard or back courtyard and listen for the trains. With each bedroom having a private bath, you don't have to be close family to relax and enjoy this location. Plenty of room, plenty of parking, well stocked kitchen - you will feel like houseguests of the lucky owners of this very special house.
