Annual trip for our Civil War Sho
Overall very nice for what we needed. Property could use some issues addressed. Lightbulbs out on the porch and motion detection light on stairs broken. Some of the showers could be updated. Low water pressure at times. Just a few improvements would go a long way.

Perfect Franklin Getaway
Nine of us comfortably spent a long weekend. The only disappointment was that the listing said there was a hot tub, and there was none. We loved Franklin, and the cabin was delightful.

We stayed here for a wedding in Franklin and loved it. The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The screened in porch was amazing. Would love to stay here again.

The stay was good but with some minor issues like screen on the deck door off, holes in the porch screen, not all lights were functional, bbq grill was not clean and not enough trash storage.

Great retreat
We stayed here while attending The Homesteading Festival. Place was as advertised and very nice. Layout with bedroom on each end of house and each having a bathroom was well thought out. We have already reserved it again for next year.

Spacious Home
This house had plenty of space for the 9 of us girls who were visiting for a bachellorette weekend. The space was very clean and had everything we needed. Very secluded and only 25-30 minutes to downtown Nashville. We also visited a winery that was pretty close to the rental, about 12 minutes. The hosts were very responsive and we didnt come across any major issues.

Family Wedding Weekend
We had 8 people. It was great to be in a home instead of a hotel. The house is cute, and we enjoyed the Christmas tree which is still up. One of the master bathroom sinks needs the stopper to be repaired, and the fireplace remote was not working, possibly batteries but we didn’t want to mess with it. The water pressure is fine when you stagger your showers. Great wkd, mostly perfect for us.

House is structurally good. Needs some help with supplies and space. Seating in living room for 5, beds for 12. Oven mitt had holes in it. Two burned fingers!!!! No blender or crockpot. Very lacking in water pressure upstairs. Beds were comfortable.

I think the pictures on line fluff up the property more than what it actually is. It was not bad, I just was expecting a little more fluff. We could not use one shower in one bathroom and the other trickled just enough to get in and out. Laundry room had sheets and towels all over the place. Overall not bad. Just could have been a little better with just a little more effort.

Updates needed!
Certain areas of the home appeared to have been updated. Those are shown in the photos. What you don’t see is the threadbare bedspreads, the curtains on the windows just nailed on the window moldings and half of the slats missing from the bedroom veritical blinds. The outdoor area was covered in poison ivy, so there was no playing outside for the kids. We had to replace light bulbs in one bathroom because they were all burned out. These updates and repairs are low budget items and should be completed by the owner before renting out again !

Beautiful cabin and location with plenty of room to sleep. The screened in porch with rocking chairs were great. We had a great time and were there for my nephews wedding. The downstairs of the house was really nice but there was a lack of seating for a house that holds 8+ people. It would be nice to have a little more seating for the amount of people the house will hold. The downstairs bedrooms were nice but I can’t say that about the upstairs. The Queen beds in one bedroom were broken when we arrived. The beds in the other upstairs bedroom squeaked every time someone rolled over. The water pressure was terrible in the bathrooms making it difficult to wash your hair. One of the showers couldn’t be used due to there being just a trickle of water. The lower handle in the master shower is also broken. The rungs on two of the bar stools were broken when we arrived too. Upon receipt of leaving we received an incidental damage claim for broken beds that were damaged before we arrived.

Beautiful place but lots of issues!
Hello, I just wanted to let you know about our stay. The house was beautiful however there were a lot of issues that should be addressed. The water pressure was terrible. When trying to shower in the master bath, the handle kept going down and shutting the water off, so we needed to keep turning the water on. The water took forever to get warm throughout the whole house as well. The blinds in the master bedroom were in poor condition as there were several broken blinds on both the patio door and window. The tv in the master bedroom did not work at all and when trying to connect the living room tv to the internet, it would not connect so we were not able to watch tv at all while trying to relax. The stove also had the orange light that stayed on 24/7 saying surface hot when no one used the stove. We tried to open a can but noticed there was not a can opener and we were going to cookout but the grill outside did not work and it was very dirty and rusty. Some of the knives in the wood block were rusty and not sanitary and then the sink in the master bath will not drain because the water stopper was stuck in the sink. Then there were linens piled up in the laundry room that we were not sure if they were clean or not because they had not been put away and the sponge in the kitchen was really gross. What can I do to get some money back on our stay. We traveled from far away and expected to be able to use the house as normal and unfortunately that was not the case?

Great vacation spot
Really nice, quiet log home with adequate space for our group of 6 adults. Just a few stairs to get into the house and then everything was accessible to our senior with mobility issues. A short drive into Nashville, just avoid morning and afternoon commute if possible. We had a great stay. Thank you
