"You really want to think twice before renting this property. I told the owner that there would be 2 senior citizens coming, and asked if access would be easy. She said it would be easy. We arrived at night, and virtually took our life into our hands to find it at night. Then, when we found it we had to drag our bags half a kilometer over rocks to get to the house. Once inside, the power failed. I contacted the owner immediately and told her that the place was entirely unsatisfactory, and that we could not stay. I requested a refund and she flat refused. Even after Vrbo contacted her. They just said she was greedy, and there was nothing they could do. Which I consider very uncool on the part of Vrbo. I still think Vrbo should do something to compensate us for our trouble. In short,The Chalet Rossignol is anything but a chalet up a poorly kept dirt road. And the owner is dishonorable. Youre better off staying in town than at this substandard property."
