Lake and marina view, Cape Royale under the trees, newly remodeled kitchen

Enjoy our 4 bed, 2 full bath 1880 Sqft mid-century modern lakehouse with beautiful lakeview from the front and at 100 steps from the back deck to the lively Cape Royale marina. Optional fee for access to the community pool, $90/family for 7 days, need 6 days notice and the names of up to 6 adults. The lakehouse is equipped with WIFI, wood fired stove (BYO wood), good beds and mattresses and a nice deck under the trees at the back of the house. Fully equipped remodeled kitchen with supply of coffee, tea, sugar, salt, ketchup, mustard and BBQ sauce. Bed linens and towels provided. Kids toys, booster seat, video and DVD library. Private parking for four cars or three cars + boat trailer. Bring your boat (Cape Royale charges a $20 fee, I believe) and fishing gear. Alternatively, I can take max. 6 persons out in our boat, for a fee and subject to weather and my availability. Fishing dock and three boat ramps are nearby at the marina. Cape Royale has basketball courts, beach volleyball, nature trail, playground and lakefront parks and is child friendly. Optional fee for access to the community pool: $90/family for 7 days, we need 6 days notice and the names of up to 6 adults for registration with the POA.

Lake Livingston Retreat
Our family was comfortable in this home near the marina. It is clean and well stocked with good working appliances and air conditioning. This is our second time here and we enjoyed it thoroughly.

Perfect quiet escape
Great location - sleepy little neighborhood on the lake. We are from dallas and met friends from Houston there - easy for us all to get to. The house was great for 2 families with bedrooms on 2 floors. Kitchen is well stocked with all the things we needed. It’s dog friendly with lots of outdoor activities. We made great memories with our families and will plan to come back !

Great home for Families
The layout of the home was great for 6 adults and 3 children. There were plenty of spaces to hang out together or get away from the group. The back porch was great spot to relax. The home had everything and more to make our trip enjoyable and easy.

Lovely Long Weekend
Our family stayed in this ideal home for the third time for Memorial Day Weekend. It is always a pleasure to be hosted by Frederik and Sylvia. The home is cozy, comfortable and clean. Our family had a wonderful visit at this property over Thanksgiving. The house was spacious and well stocked. The owners Frederik and Sylvia were available and answered questions promptly. Christmas in Coldspring

Serene Retreat by the Lake
Our stay at the lake house in this nice neighborhood exceeded expectations. The marina added a serene touch to the surroundings. We enjoyed expending family time at the large table on the deck. Exceptional weekend getaway.
Property was comfortable and very clean. Kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils, dishes and cleaning supplies. All you needed for a getaway at the lake. Fantastic!
Great location with easy access to the water and Lone Star Hiking Trails (Sam Houston National Forest). House was very clean and had great amenities (umbrella, bug spray, welcome basket, toiletries, etc.). It was only us, but would have worked great for multiple families as well. The owners communicated well both before, during and after our stay.

Enjoyed our time, just would have liked to have been able to make the rain go away. We did have some time to enjoy the back deck though. The host had good communication. The kitchen was very well stocked. The large couch was nice. Comfortable seating for several people. We also had plenty of area for parking. Nice area fro get out and take a walk.

Perfect spot in Cape Royale
We spent the weekend and Memorial Day in this perfect home. The house comfortably slept our group of four adults and six children. The deck area is shaded and really nice to relax on, the house is stocked with board games, books, movies, legos and trains which the kids all loved! We also brought our boat and rented a slip at the marina which is only a short walk away. All in all it was perfect! Thanks to the owners for sharing their lovely lake home with us! We will be back!

Fantastic House for a Family Get Together!!!
We needed overflow accommodations for our sons wedding at the beautiful Lake Livingston and this place was perfect! From beautiful sunrises over the Marina to Late night Family Yahtzee around the table we were thoroughly pleased. Easy access to the nature trail for those that wanted to get their steps in and a great lounging situation with Roku and Netflix for those that didn’t, provided the right relaxation for everyone! The owners were so sweet to allow us an early check-in so we could do wedding prep on Friday too!! Our wedding week-end was perfect and we are very thankful!
