This charming cottage is set in the beautiful Essex countryside, and is ideal as a romantic getaway.. 1 step to entrance.

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Sitting-out area. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: No children.. The Coach House is perfect for couples wanting a rural escape to explore the fabulous Essex countryside. Nearby attractions include the famous Tiptree jam factory with its amazing tea room. The beautiful Mersea Island is just 3 miles away, home to great restaurants and water sports. Abberton Reservoir is the fourth largest reservoir in England, with thousands of geese and wildlife visiting each year. There is a walk around the reservoir along with hides in which to birdwatch.
The Coach House has fabulous views across the Essex countryside with a ground floor country kitchen and a modern bathroom with a shower cubicle. There is a grand master bedroom upstairs making it a haven in rural Essex. There is a on-site café available for breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas and early evening meals, if you fancy a little light exercise then why not book a session in the fitness studio (book direct with owner). Beach 3 miles. Shop 3 miles, pubs 1 mile and restaurant 2 miles.

We had a lovely stay at the Coach house.
We had a lovely stay at the Coach house. It is very comfortable and well equipped. It is well situated for exploring the area. Although it was mid September we were lucky to have beautiful weather and would have liked to have the opportunity for a morning swim in the pool but were advised by the owner that the pool was not part of the coach house. Although we were not told we could not use it we were not shown how to access it and it was clear it was not really an option fot us. I only mention this as the pool seems to feature prominently in the advertising of the property currently. Despite this I would recommend the property as an excellent place to explore this beautiful part of the UK.
