"Perfect location to be close to the Salt Flats! It's a bit of a distance from Uyuni but if you plan properly, you'll be fine. Staff here take very good care of you. Our bed was small, when we pointed it out they immediately added another bed. The hotel interiors are beautiful and interesting, and try to showcase the local environment. The breakfast buffet was very good, with an egg station. The one thing I wish would be better - the bar menu. The dinner buffet is not well suited for everyone, and the only other option for food is to order from the bar menu, which has very few options. "

Unfortunately I got sick due to altitude and the hotel, besides some local herb infusions, didn’t have any medication to help fight the sickness. I understand they don’t want to be responsible for any contraindications or side effects but they should have medication available and simply have the guest sign a release of liability. The hotel is far away from any pharmacy so more than herbal choices should be made available "

"The hotel looks it is very new. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, the hot water shower worked well. The señor at reception was incredibly nice and helpful beyond words. He will give recommendations on where to eat and help you with any questions. He also called a taxi for me and waited with me for the taxi to arrive as Uber doesn’t work in Uyuni.
