Lovely, traditional family-owned hotel with good-sized rooms with great views. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Free parking over the road in secure underground car park. Fantastic view from breakfast room and terrace above. Great breakfast with huge range of items including hot food

Overall this hotel is good, 1-2 min walk to the train station. Our room is facing the street and I did not expect we can hear all the traffic noises so clearly during the night. The room and bathroom are very small too.

When we checked In, they didn't have the room that we had pre-paid for. They placed us in a very nice room on the second night, effectively requiring us to move rooms in the middle of our stay. We will not be staying at the Oslo again as we cannot trust that they will have the room that we book.

Hotel Oslo is perfectly located to see all of the sights of Coimbra. Caudrigo (sorry unsure of spelling) on reception was so helpful. He gave us a map and told us the best places to visit, and recommend a couple of really good restaurants. We upgraded to a room with a balcony and city views which was lovely. The roof top bar had lovely views and the breakfasts were good. It is on quite a busy road, but this is probably unavailable being this close to the centre and near the railway station.
