Used to be the gold standard in Coimbatore but has become outdated and falling apart. My room didn’t have hot water and the shower wasn’t working well. The floor/ wall edges have broken off. Food is below average with the menu not up to a star hotel standard. Wish they pay attention to maintaining the rooms. The best part of this hotel are their people and service - still top notch and customer focused.

The room was clean, comfortable, and guest services answers calls & delivers what you need in a flash. The breakfast buffet: The best I have had in India / Tamil Nadu. My first day breakfast included Idly, Dosa, Sambar vada, Pongal, Upuma. My highlight was the Appam with coconut milk!! Had a dinner at their Chin Chin restaurant - excellent Indo-Chinese food, with great service & big portions. A special mention about Ms. Gayatri at the front desk: She was phenomenally courteous, professional & very pleasant as she greets you, puts you at ease about the property and amenities. She single handedly made my stay pleasant - I noticed that she was quite popular among many guests as myself. She knows the place & the staff well, helped me getting the Red Taxi service, seemed to be well respected and very collaborative with the hotel staff. When in Coimbatore, I will definitely, stay here. And will have the Buffet Breakfast EVERY DAY!!
