"Really lovely family holiday, most of the staff were friendly and helpful, although one or two female receptionists could be a bit more pleasant, found them to be quite abrupt at times. Food is good, something for everyone, breakfast was the same every day, bacon, delicious scrambled eggs, tomatoes, selection of fruits and breads. "The hotel looked great from the outside. Inside reception was also nice but carpet on stairs a bit grubby, but dogs were allowed in the hotel so not a surprise. "My husband was sick and the staff was wonderfully helpful and attentive. They allowed us to check in 30 minutes early after explaining to housekeeping. They also allowed us to check out 3 hours late for a small hourly fee and arranged for the prepaid breakfast to be delivered to my husband in the room. The ladies at the front desk also provided great sightseeing tips (for me) and pharmacy directions ( for him.) The renovated hotel is in a historic area and is modern and gorgeous. It also...

"The room was comfortable and the bathroom nice. The hallway was a bit noisy in the morning as the cleaning staff went about their business - not really able to sleep in. breakfast was really good. Front desk staff nice. Staff in the spa was not helpful or friendly - in my opinion, a phone call should not take priority over three couples standing in line. But generally, a very good place to stay."
