Very basic motel that was reasonably priced but in need of updating and better cleaning. Pros: - Good shower pressure - Nice pool - Cheap - Aircon - Reception staff: he was friendly on arrival Cons: - Dated, most surfaces chipped and bathroom was very 70s looking. - Marks on surfaces and walls (not sure if dirty or stained). - Long brunette hair on the shower tiles when I got in (I have medium blonde hair so it was obviously from a previous guest) - Bathroom door did not close easily, so noisy to close. - Dusty ledges/edges - No plug points near beds (only 1 available in the room). - Gap above door (between door and frame). - People constantly walking up and down/talking and being loud outside room. - Parking is a bit of an issue. No allocated spaces. We got parked at check-in ok but if you go out again you may not get a space, though there is street parking. Would I stay here again? No, I’d rather try somewhere else or pay a little more for something nicer. This was disappointing. Photos make it look better than it is.

Unfortunately my comments may give people an unnecessarily -ve opinion of my stay. This is a shame because most of the -ve things were outside the control of the management of the motel. What was able to be controlled needed some attention. . 1) stains on the carpet when I arrived (needed shampooing). 2) The curtains were not enough to keep the room dark as there was a security light outside the room and it just shone in and over the top of the gap in the curtains upon the white ceiling - pellets were needed! 3) The floor tiles in the very pokey bathroom were highly polished. Elegant but also extremely slippery!
