Easy to get to and easy to check in - even after office hours. As an adult, it was difficult to get into the top bunk without anything to hold onto on the left side. Very clean and tidy cabin. Would stay again.

Arrived for late check in, got into cabin and it smelt stale, sheets were stained, lounge was covered in black marks, window curtains for mouldy, there was a booger on night stand next to bed. We left 3 hours later and continued trip. Absolutely appalled and never will stay again.

Everything there was very old. The cabin was very smelly after some cleaning chemicals. The bed linen were dirty. The TV set was so high that you could not watch it. We will never come to you again.

Dated cabins with little to cater for furbabies
We selected this place to stay so we could accommodate our two small dogs to stay with us while on holidays. The owners responded quickly to online enquiries which was a positive start. This property is listed as dog friendly, but there really isnt much here to actually cater for your furbaby. Cabins are very small, even for us humans to stay in and very dated with peeling cupboard doors, rusted metal furniture, old-looking linen, cracks in the shower floor and broken shower screen, to name a few minor issues in our cabin alone. There wasnt really anywhere suitable to take your dogs for toilet trips. There was one of two small bbq area nearby our cabin but it had a camper setup there with a tent most of the nights which distracted our dogs easily. Cabins are also quite close together and our two dogs were unfortunately anxious in a new location so barked whenever they heard doors of vehicles or cabins nearby slamming shut. The noise of the highway can also easily be heard, but that honestly didnt bother us. The short bed length was more of an issue, but ofcourse small cabins dont help that. The complex was suppose to have free wifi, but on the cabin info sheet it said only 1GB of wifi was free and charged thereafter. The wifi dropped out on day 2 (after minimal usage) and we couldnt log back in the rest of our stay. We didnt bother to enquire about it but were a little bummed to not easily logon on pre-plan our days outings.
Some of the cabins which appeared to be mostly permanent residents at the complex.
Old dated appliances, broken kick at the bottom of this one. Thankfully it still worked.
Long dark hair on the floor in one of the bedrooms. We all have light brown / blonde, short hair, definately not ours.

Great friendly (and pet-friendly) service, basic comfortable and spacious cabin. Driveways, drainage might not be ideal for rainy weather. We were lucky and missed the rain during our stay. Highway location is a bit noisy and can be difficult to drive out of. Not super close to restaurants etc.

This is the 2nd time we had stayed at banana coast caravan park, the first time was terrific, this time though the cabin was small, smelly and unfortunately one to the beds was like sleeping on concrete, we ended up leaving earlier than we had planned. Vicki in the office though was a pleasure to deal with, unfortunately it is the cabin that let our holiday down.

Toilet needs uplift, and using blue colours in towels seems they try to hide the dirty. Room needs better lighting. Apart from that, good sleeping.

Clean, new stove, good water pressure in shower, clean fridge, clean kitchen in general. Furniture dated, towels smelly. No insects in the cabin. We stayed for a week. We cleaned the shower, wipoed down the table and chairs. Used pur own linen. The main things were clean and functionable : kitchen and bathroom

The younger male "manager" likes to drive the park in his golf cart and gawk at holiday goers. Kids cannot make a sound or play around the pool without being told off. Cabin had a extremely uncomfortable patio furniture as the main lounge chair. Cabin was not clean, no toilet paper and dirty utensils. No its not expensive, but it's still a very poorly run business.
