"Jorn’s Gastehaus is absolutely beautiful. We were quite pleased to walk over a small wooden bridge with lots of fish swimming about to arrive at the “Queen” Cottage. It was very. spacious with a high ceiling and stain glass decor. The room included a very large comfortable bed, twin bed, small refrigerator, large tub, living room, and separate bathroom with walkin shower and bench. The decor was splendid, and it was such a pleasant surprise. We also loved our outdoor patio, and enjoyed sitting in the rain forest atmosphere. The manor itself had ample parking, beautifully decorated breakfast area, as well as a bar and living room. It also had a large outdoor pool with clean, warm water, nicely maintained. The breakfast was delicious, and one could order a hot meal as well. The staff was very accommodating, and they certainly deserve recognition for their outstanding service! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to make reservations again. We definitely recommend staying here if you are in this area. Thumbs up to Jorn’s Gastehaus!"

"The place is in dire need of a major upgrade. Broken tiles on the steps. Lots of damp on the buildings. Algae in the showers. Broken window blinds. Poor functioning air con I also felt unsafe as there were people playing very loud music in the parking lot and drinking"
