Welcome to River's View! This one bedroom, one and a half bathroom apartment is just a short drive from historic downtown Cody. This home features a back deck with great views of the Shoshone River and Heart Mountain. River's View offers all the comforts of home to enjoy on your vacation!

Walking in to River's View, you'll feel instantly welcomed by the woodland décor and comfortable furnishings. The open kitchen, dining, and living space which makes it easy for you and you guests to converse while relaxing or cooking dinner. The kitchen is well-appointed to make meal preparation a breeze. Full size appliances and all the kitchen amenities you would need. A cozy dining room to gather around with your morning cup of coffee. Kick back in the spacious living room with comfortable furniture and TV with cable channels and a DVD player. There is an electric fireplace for cool evenings and a portable air conditioning unit for warmer evenings.

The living space has a queen sofa sleeper that will comfortably sleep two guests. Off the main living area, there is a half bathroom with grab bar near the toilet. A spacious bedroom past the living room has a queen bed and ample storage space for your travel wardrobe. Sliding glass doors open to the bedroom balcony where you can sit and enjoy the views of the Shoshone River.

This house was perfect . Location was very near downtown Cody, which puts you close to everything but out of earshot of any noise. The house was extremely clean & had all the needed amenities. The bed was super comfortable. The back porch faced the river & gave excellent

First visit to Cody
This is a nice place to stay with a good view of the river. It is not far from town and everything that Cody has to offer. The only issue we had using our GPS was finding our way to the property. Plenty of kitchen utensils. There were a couple of small coolers that we utilized on a day trip to Yellowstone. Management was very friendly, responsive, and easy to work with.

Good for what we did
Not as many things in the kitchen as we are used to, but do able. The internet said I was connected but was so slow I couldn’t do anything. My husband has a hot spot on his phone so we just used it. The place itself was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time out and about, so it work well for us.

Lovely place
We really enjoyed our stay, kitchen was well equipped. We grilled steaks and veggie kabobs on the gas grill and it worked great. It’s close to every thing in town, it is a hour from Yellowstone so plan accordingly for that. The only problem we had was the dryer didn’t dry very well. My husband said maybe the vent needs cleaned. (You don’t want a fire!)

Good, but some of the pots, etc. were not very clean. One bowl has what looked like pancake batter all over the outside. We felt compelled to wash everything before we used the item(s). Otherwise, we were happy with the property, we'd stay here again if we return to Cody.

Fabulous View
We absolutely adored this location. The mountain views and the sound of the Shoshone River right outside the sliding doors of my bedroom were breathtaking. The house was so cozy, we never wanted to leave!!! It was stocked with every type of cooking utensils that you will ever need. The hide-a-bed that my daughter slept on was very comfortable and so was my bed in the bedroom. The location was perfect as we were just a mile from the downtown area of Cody. Cody is an awesome town as well as all the people I met. Wyoming is one of the most beautiful states you could ever see. I am planning to return and rent this cozy home again. You will feel like you are home, just with mountain views. I give it 5 stars.

we flew out from South Carolina. been 11 years since our last visit to wyo. was nice and quiet. we love the layout and décor. i did not realize. it was part of another home, till i got the instruction email. which was not a big deal. it has its own entrance and there no access the main house. was a little uncomfortable with the deck and back yard being attached. the homeowners could walk by the bedroom windows at anytime. i ended up moving the little grill from the side walkway of the deck to the back. made it a little tight, but i didnt want the homeowners to have to watch me, if the wanted to enjoy the view or sit and enjoy the main deck. that and i didnt want to be watched. the home owners gave us plenty of space and we did the same for them. we never saw or heard them, and we tried to be unseen and heard as well. (we didnt go to be loud. we went to chill out). there is a tree growing up and is starting to block the view. but still a great view. mule deer would walk the river bank in the morning. so we got to see wildlife from the deck. we do plan on making, a annual trip to Wyoming again, now that our kids are grown. like we did years ago, before the kids got expensive. we are planning the next trip right now. we might rent a different location just for a different view. but we have no problem renting rivers view again when we visit Cody. we are talking about camping the wind river canyon next year. still early and plans may change and we may end back up in Cody.

Great 74th Birthday vacation
This is a great place to stay, with a fantastic view of the Shosone River. Well stocjed with everything you could possibly need. Bed was very comfortable. Very nice area, very close to the beautiful town of Cody. We even saw mule deer down the block on a early adventure to Yellowstone. We will definitely stay here again!

Riverside cottage
Overlooking the Shoshone River is an excellent place to stay. Well- furnished, very clean and close to town The extra half-bath was a real plus. But my favorite part was sitting on the porch watching the river. Even had a quick visit from a very shy deer! Loved our stay!
