"Polite friendly staff Spotless room very comfortable Very good value especially booking at the last minute like I did Bar open 24/7 and food available 24/7 even though it is not a major hotel none of that self-check in nonsense they had a real human there to do it for you breakfast was available at the hotel but there are loads of places nearby in the town centre you can get food There is a Tesco Express right next door Maybe a bit dated but I like older places better in lots of ways because they do not have new fangled taps and all this rubbish there was a load of scaffolding outside the hotel and you cannot see what it is and I only found out because the cab driver knew it I did not like the fact that you had to use your room key card to operate the lift when you were inside it, it made me panic a bit in case it didn't work bathroom was in this kind of pod thing so there was a fairly large step down and this made me a bit anxious I was going to forget about it and fall down it you could probably get a room without one of these if you asked for an accessible room "

"The environment is great, it’s safe and quiet with beautiful view. The hotel upgraded my room which provided with coffee machine. The location is convenient, just 10 min to the city centre. The only shortcoming is no fridge provided."

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. We loved going down to the pool and Spa in out bathrobes, although it was a little odd having to walk the whole length of the bar. Never had to do that before. The staff were very friendly. The food mostly good, just one problem on the first night when there was not enough sauce, which meant the food was rather dry and difficult to swallow. I was offered an alternative sauce immediately. The room was lovely and clean and kept warm with the use of an oil fired radiadtor. We were there in January and the weather was quite cold. We would stay there again."

"A quiet hotel in the middle of a golf course, easy to reach and friendly staff. Excellent traditional breakfast and comfortable beds. Property itself a little tired but that’s probably part of the charm. Delighted to have been upgraded. I’d recommend for the area. "

Comfy bed perfect night sleep would've stayed the second night unfortunately i had to leave early due to family emergency at home.. "
