"Really beautiful gardens, so nice to relax in. Never felt crowded despite being consistently full. Owners very generous and helpful. Let us borrow snorkel gear, bikes, and gave great advice. Free wifi. Well located near a great supermarket, some incredible snorkel locations and some good food options. Not too far from anything e.g. Muri by car. Thanks for a lovely stay! "My adult son and I, have just returned to Auckland, after attending a family wedding in Rarotonga. We had the good fortune to stay at the Arcadia Retreat for a week. This has been the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. It was quiet, set in a beautiful tropical garden setting, close to the beach and some eateries. "Kavera Beach House is a beautiful home tastefully decorated in relaxing tones. “Just bring your clothes” we were told by the Property Owner. She was right about not needing anything else. We were spoilt with ample towels, additional bedding, multiple tables to eat at and plenty of crockery and kitchen aids. The outdoor shower tucked away in the corner is a fantastic touch. "We will be back! Beachfront, amazing snorkelling, bigger than the photos show. Such a great find Notes: it took a few days to get enough bath towels for us but our teens weren't bothered and it is right next door to the Shipwreck bar who have live music often. Most nights it's was finished by 9ish but one night it was closer to 11pm. Only an issue for the bedroom really but worth noting if you have little ones"

"They staff come every three days and the one day we met them they were very friendly. The units are a little older but large. They are on the beach and have a large deck. The view is beautiful. You are on what appears to be a popular locals beach. It is one of the larger beaches on the island. There is good swimming and snorkeling right in front. "
