Room 103 was not clean. Floors were dirty and the shower curtain was moldy. Poor drainage in the bathroom shower caused the room to flood and became extremely dangerous to walk through. The bed had no blanket and the pillows were old and not clean. The sheets were not put on properly and may not have been fresh. There was no one available to help with these issues and the cleaners never came to help me. The management was absent and only texted me in answer to my concerns. Other guests had similar or worse problems and were seeking assistance like I was. I will not stay at Anthony’s again or recommend it to anyone else. I would like to be compensated for this poor service in the form of a refund either full or partial payment. Diane Brennan Horan 386-747-6737

we did not like the contactless check in. we did not see the email on how to check in. When we called the phone #, the lady who answered sounded annoyed, as if we were bothering her. The housekeeper was asked to help us check into the room. The code for the keypad did not work. the battery was bad. we ended up using the regular key.

The property was just ok in a pinch but the issue i had was the mold in the room. It wasn’t visible but it’s def there! I had a severe reaction and could hardly breathe by morning even after takkng allergy meds. Also lighting wasn’t all working and windows are in need of repair. Had friends that stayed in a room 2 doors down with same issues.

I booked Anthony’s on the beach on a whim! My partner is participating in a marathon tomorrow and we drove up from south Florida so needed a place to stay. It’s my first time in cocoa beach and I love it! I will most certainly come back and stay here for a mini staycation!

Very cute small motel! No frills but clean and comfy! Walkable restaurants and right on the beach. They even have chairs to use. Very convenient for stay before cruise!

The accommodations were acceptable – perhaps what I would consider an 8 by Expedia standards; certainly not an 8.8. I would consider staying there again - except for the bad check-in experience we had. We arrived at noon just to see if we could check in before the stated 3 pm check-in time. The owner was working on the outside of the hotel but he was unable to permit the early check-in. Okay; no big deal - we expected that. He said the check-in instructions for keyless entry would be communicated to us at about 1 pm. He was kind enough to let us park in the motel lot if we wished to spend time on the beach. We instead opted to leave and come back for 3 pm. We arrived 10 minutes before 3 pm (but still had not received check-in instructions). The owner was still working outside the motel and saw us sitting in our nearby parked car. He merely looked at his watch and went right back to work. Rude! I know he recognized us. I waited until 3:05 pm and approached him; I still hadn’t received my check-in instructions. However, I had to wait to speak to the owner as another guest was giving him grief over the check-in process and not being permitted to check in a little early. I eventually received my check-in instructions. We are just two typically-polite Canadian seniors who didn’t even complain about the check-in snafu but the owner would barely acknowledge us during our 3-day stay. Others also found the owner to be distant. I give a 7.5.
