"Umami is a gorgeous garden hotel! We loved our suites. The decor is just stunning. The staff is courteous and kind. Breakfast tasted amazing! We loved the rice and beans. The parking is minimal. However using bikes, a tuk tuk, or walking is the best way to get around this jungle beach town. Bring earplugs because the birds and other lodgings in the area may wake you up. As a Jamaican, I loved our culture mixed in. We loved Old Habour aka Puerto Viejo! We will definitely go back and stay at Umami again. "

"We had such a great stay at Caribe Town bungalows! It was an amazing experience. The staff was wonderful. It is a short walk to the wonderful beach and about 15 mins from town. You feel like you are in the middle of of lush jungle but with all the amenities. Breakfast was prepared every day and provided a great way to experience local cuisine. Overall awesome and I will stay there again. "

"Location is great! Directly acroos from Cocles Beach so had great acess. As stated, the road is noisy at night but you know that going into your stay. Host responded immediately to all of our questions. A few bars/restaurants right by. Would stay again."
