Our host Ingrid was wonderful, kind and very friendly - a wealth of local information and gave us a few hints and tips on the walks we did from Nirvana central. Cabin was very comfortable with all we needed for our stay. Definitely visit again.

amazing place. far from everything. no phone, no inherent, no locality around. you can listen to the nature. you can enjoy the silence. The cottages need to be revamped quite a bit. but the ambience covers for everything. loved it. highly recommended. once again, please don't expect a star hotel like confort.

A lovely stay
We had a lovely stay at Nirvana. However we booked & paid for a room with twin beds in the second bedroom & also a sofa bed, but we didn’t get that room. We had two double beds (meaning we all needed to share beds which was not what we wanted to do) & there was no sofa bed. We were provided with a folding bed when requested. We were celebrating a birthday while @ nirvana & Ingrid gave our friend chocolates which was lovely :) There had been a lot of rain prior to our stay so many parts of the venue were quite a bit overgrown & the pool was cloudy - we still enjoyed swimming every day though.

Nirvana is a beautiful property in lovely condition nestled amongst farm land and the State Forest. It was a fantastic detox weekend with no reception or internet (apart from Wifi in the shared communal hall) which made it so lovely!!

This place transports you! In the middle of nowhere. So nice to disconnect for two days. The grounds are spectacular and the cabins immaculately maintained. Plenty of rainforests walks available or just relax on the balcony. Cabin's have everything you need, just bring food and water.

A complete escape from the rat race
Fantastic spot - the rain forest walk was great. Real rustic charm of this place really grows on you. If you really want to get away for some peace and quiet then this is the place.

Admittedly, I was a little worried when we first arrived and there was a blackout (which we found out was a rare thing). I was worried about the TV, shower etc. Then the lights came back on but we were outside with other guests at the firepit looking up at the most amazing night sky I have seen in years. I remembered why I wanted to come to this place. The Cabins are good and it is the perfect place to "getaway". My wife and 7 year old went on trails walks and we left all our phones in the cabins. The walks are beautiful and secluded. some are easier than others but all are magical. It was such a refreshing stay. My only negatives are that is in need of a "touch up" here and there but it has everything you need to stay warm, cosy and refreshed. Also I don't think you will find a better more scenic location. My son already wants to come back and visit the ponies and do the other trails. Thanks Ingrid!! It was great!!

A beautiful rustic retreat to regroup, recharge and reset. There is a calming presence as soon as you enter the property. Our family cabin was spacious and clean. The lovely lady who manages the property provided us with firewood and had set up games and colouring in for the kids up in the common lodge, she was so accomodating and went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Please note - Don't come here if you expect a sparkling resort, this place offers something much more magical with it's rustic charm,friendly animals and magnificent rainforest trails you have no choice but to connect with nature. One of our highlights was having a lyrebird imitate the kids sounds on the Yoga Walk and navigating our way across the natural bridges over the feshwater streams . We brought plenty of food as it is about 40 mins to the closest store. Next time we will bring ingredients so we can use the big wood fire oven. We cant wait to come back as we have so many more trails and places here to discover..
