Awesome apartment with private entry, bathroom, and hot tub, separated from main home via a wall and insulation and privacy fence. Nestled in foothills of Yosemite and the sounds of the river. Approximately 30 minutes to the south gate of Yosemite. Bass Lake 20 minutes away. Beautiful town of Coarsegold only 5 minutes away.
Private Hot tub is nice for those evenings after hiking in Yosemite/bass lake. Newly remodeled, with new floors, king bed, wall pictures.

This was an adorable and clean place to stay! The little guest property is very private and welcoming. Check in process was very easy. I really enjoyed the hot tub after long days of hiking in Yosemite. Saw multiple hummingbirds as I sat outside and drank coffee in the morning. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfy. This place is exactly as shown in the pictures. It is a a little bit of a drive from Yosemite (1.5 hours from Yosemite valley)… However, it really is the best you can get without spending $$$$$ to stay right in the park. Furthermore, Coarsegold, Oakhurst and surrounding area are well worth exploring and we loved going to Bass Lake on the days we were not hiking. All in all, this is one of the best Vrbo properties I’ve rented.

We were visiting Yosemite. Location was a little far but unless you have lots of money or can somehow grab a campsite IN Yosemite this worked. Hot tub is a nice amenity but when its a 100 degrees out, not really needed. NIce property, quiet. Would stay here again.

Great Location - Close to Yosemite
My husband and I stayed here the evening before and after spending an entire day hiking in Yosemite, and really couldn't have chosen a better location. The hot tub was such a welcome amenity for our sore legs and feet. The bed was very comfy.

Wonderful Stay
Perfect for the Yosemite getaway. Quiet, clean, and everything we needed to relax after an exhausting day of hiking or biking at Yosemite National Park. Hosts were gracious and communicative. The area has many attractions and restaurants. Bass Lake was a beautiful side trip for one of the days we didn’t go to Yosemite. Excellent stay!

Wonderfully remote + an excellent hot tub!
Had a nice, quiet & relaxing stay at this home south of Yosemite. Was a little bit further from the park than we realized, but we were newbies to Yosemite and now understand the lay of the land better. After long days exploring Yosemite, it was nice to relax in the hot tub and look at the stars. Thanks for a comfortable stay!

Mountain hideaway
Stayed 2 nites. Sweet studio with a very comfy bed. Air conditioning was a savior as the temps in late June were 100+. Used the hot tub to sooth our backs and legs from Yosemite walks. Caught the YARTs bus in nearby town to/from Yosemite National Park. Highly recommend it.

A little underwhelming
While this property was probably awesome 20+ years ago, it is exactly that. Everything looks and feels very worn and used for at least 20 years. The mattress was so old it no longer had any support and was long overdue for replacement. The sheets and comforter had been well used and stained. It felt more like we were crashing in someone’s room than a place to stay and didn’t leave the impression that it was very clean. We left as soon as we could

Great stay!
Great location and wonderful hosts. The hot tub is always on and ready to just in, which we appreciated. It’s about 45 min the the southern entrance in Yosemite and about an hour 40 to the valley (half dome, waterfalls, etc). This spot is also great for viewing stars at night.

We loved to stay here!
We had a girls trip planned to Yosemite and decided to stay here. Hosts are amazing sweet people willing to go out of their way to accommodate you. They gave us our space and privacy always. The hot tub is a plus, we absolutely loved it and would love to come back. Space was clean and spacious.

The place was clean and easy to find with directions. A little farther outside of town than expected, just added a little driving. It was as described, a small room and bathroom for sleeping at night, but had a great forest view. The hot tub was great after hiking all day and we had a wonderful time!

Hot tub issues
Everything was exactly as I expected...BUT my main reason for choosing this place was the hot tub. Shortly after I arrived I went on a short walk and rock hopping excursion by the river. I got into the tub after that and the temp was cool - which actually felt good on a hot afternoon. I sent them A message through VRBO later on after I had left to the casino. Asked if they could please turn up the heat because I was planning on soaking upon my return. I had also been looking forward to a soak this morning to start off my day. The “hot” tub remained cool. I don’t think they responded to my message. I was very disappointed - as I was so looking forward to a tub to myself for as long as I was there. ThE owners are very nice people so I don’t want this to sully their reputation as everything else was as expected. I had also mentioned in our first communication how I was looking forward to the hot tub.
