"Before I start, a HUGE shout out to the owners Trent & Pam! Our mini vacation at Whispering Waves Cottages was just what we needed. The waterfront views are absolutely stunning at any time of day! Our teens went into the water for a dip. There were some deer around the outer perimeter of the property that didn’t bother us but beautiful to see around. The cottage was clean and spacious for 4 of us and lots of seating area outside of the cottage and on the property. Bring some groceries and drinks with you so you don’t have to go out again. Most restaurants and stores are about 25–30min away and be mindful that many may close earlier than you might be used to. If you enjoy beaches, there are many around in all directions to explore. We had lovely neighbours who were a great wealth of information & extremely helpful to us. (They have been going there for over 15 years and couldn’t speak enough about Whispering Waves and the owners!) We found ourselves in a big pickle one day and Trent & Pam were able to help us problem solve. We can’t express our gratitude enough for this support!!! 💗 We hope to be back again with some more family & friends!"

"What a find! This beautiful property just north of Shelburne NS, in middle Ohio nestled away from the wide world on deception lake was an unbelievable find. The last property on the winding road you a greeted by view of the lake and wonderful wrap around deck. The cottage was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and allows you to be removed from the world with all the comforts of the modern world. A beautiful fire place, two outdoor fire pits, Warf onto the water and sand beach. Weather you are relaxing in the Sunna or Hot tub, out on the lake on the kayaks or canoe or in the lake swimming. Everything about this place is about convivence and class. From the specular sunrise in the morning and sunsets at night. I highly recommend this property for your next family or personal getaway. I know I will be back to misty meadows. "

"The cottage was great! It has everything you need for a vacation stay. The host Daniel was always available with communication, very pleasant and approachable. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the mornings having a coffee and having fires in the evening. All in all we give the cottage a 5 star review and would absolutely stay again.. "
