Our family gathering was an opportunity to spend quality time together unwinding, reconnecting and doing a lot of cooking! At every turn, Cathy & Jeff’s home provided a truly seamless experience. From the smallest details, such as a fully loaded spice rack, to a wide variety of outdoor seating areas, we could have spent a month and rarely used the same area twice. Right from the arrival, the Lake House was exactly what we had all imagined as the ideal “Lakefront Cottage”. Elegant and well maintained, sitting on a lovely waterfront parcel of wooded land. The setting was idyllic in everyway. Inside, the bedrooms were large, well appointed, meticulously clean and elegantly decorated with the perfect blend of “Lake House” vibe, without the tacky or kitsch – no singing bass over the fireplace or book shelves made to look like a canoe. Communication with the owners, instructions on equipment use and space were smooth and always hospitable. We don’t want to give too much away, but suffice it to say this home is exceptional in so many ways and we are already planning our return."

"Gary met us at the cottage and gave us the grand tour, we had the most incredible scenic weekend away with our family and especially enjoyed the experience of Gary’s telescopes!! We got to see sun spots on the sun and go and explore the dark night reserve! Gary is a very laid back and kind host and we can’t wait to go back!! "

The kids, and adults, both enjoyed the view, the fishing, the company and the weather. We were able to use the paddle board as well as the fishing boat.We are already planning next year's visit!!
